How blissful it must be

To live without anxiety

To live comfortably

To breathe naturally

How nice it has to be

To walk around happily

To not worry of what's happening

To not always be battling

I'd love it if my hands would stop shaking

It'd be great if I could focus on one thing

It sounds wonderful to listen intently 

Without feeling overwhelmed internally

I wish my heart wouldn't beat frantically

I wish I could take my meds without moving mechanically

This is the inside

Of an anxious mind

These are the things 

I wish I could leave behind

Wishful thinking, I suppose

With this statement, I disclose

Slow down, take a breath, they say

Calm down, it'll soon go away

But in the morning when I wake

It will be my sanity they take
