[The Man takes one long glance at Carol. Every second becoming an enteral minute.] 

Carol's voice begins to crack, "I'll head back inside... Just don't hurt him any further. It was my fault that I needed to g-"

[The Officer is kicked and punched once again. Drips of saliva and blood leak from The Officer's mouth.]

"Hey! Didn't you hear me!" 

The Man looks down on The Officer while softly speaking, "Why is she not handcuffed? Hm? Why are you not following protocol? Hm?" He viciously stomps on The Officer's chest, making him spit out blood as pressure increases within the chest cavity.

[The sounds of The Officer's ribs cracking and his agonizing pain staggers Carol. Barrel watches in horror at what is happening.]  

"You don't deserve this position. Do you hear me? You are unfit. Unfit to remain in society. Unfit to remain in The Agency." Three repeated blows were delivered to The Officer's ribcage. One kick to each side and one kick to the Sternum. 

Staring down, face-to-face, The Man takes one last glimpse at The Officer, "Deviant... You..." The Man's has suddenly changed. His voice is as if he were someone else, "DEVIANT!" 

[The Man's instinct to correct the behavior of The Officer's incompetent behavior kicks in. Preparing to deliver the final blow, he lifts his leg above The Officer's head, preparing to cave his head in.]

Barrel quickly whispers to Carol, begging her, "Carol, get inside and get behind me..!"

The ongoing situation deafens her from Barrel. With tears in her eyes, she pleads helplessly, "PLEASE! ENOUGH! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY!" With so much adrenaline running through her body, her instinct forces her to freeze. Her eyes begin to glow once again.

[From a distance, the sound of a siren is heard. With each passing moment, lights are flashing from red to blue to yellow and then red. Each distraction forces The Man to cease.] 

The Man scoffs, "Look... that... Saved." Looking down at The Officer one final time, "You... Lucky, lucky person. You lucky person! Haha! Lucky person!" 

[No hesitation, The Man quickly enters his vehicle and retreats from the scene.]

[Barrel does the same in not wasting any time. Barrel gets Carol into the truck and immediately shuts the doors closed.]

[The incoming vehicle reaches its assigned point. Parking right in front of The Officer's truck, having its siren turned off as well. Two exiting with mechanical gear on their chest and waist. Upon that gear reads (E-Team #6).]
