[ (E.m #2) walks cautiously to the doors. As a precaution, he readies himself with a rifle in his hand he grabbed from his truck before (E.m #1) took off.]

[Barrel hugs Carol to keep her calm. He does so in hopes that she would not alert (E.m #2).]

Speaking softly, "Carol! Stop banging on the truck! You're going to get us caught!"

Carol's glow fades away and snaps back into reality. She feels embraced while also refuting, "I'm... I'm not doing anything..."

Barrel looks to his right, realizing that Jason was awake all along despite not being able to see. He whispers to himself, "God damn it..!"

The truck's back doors are forcefully opened by (E.m #2) without any time left available to think, "Don't move! Show me your hands!"

[All three look at (E.m #2) with concern. Barrel raises his arm. Carol gets on her knees and proceeds to do the same, despite the hard, cold metal bruising her knees. Jason, on the other hand, continues being himself.]

Jason speaks freely, "Oh, are you an officer as well? Because it seems you know how to use that thing knowing that we are the captured d-."

[ (E.m #2) points his gun at Jason, focusing all attention on him.]

"Shoot me. Save me the trouble of life." He smiles at (E.m #2).

"Shut up! Hands up and get out!" A click was heard from the gun.

Despite being at the gates of death, Jason remains calm and continues, "Buckaroo, listen. You're not going to do anything to me. I'm not sure if the other driver is still here, but I can assure you he can cause damage much more intimidating than what you can do."

[Once again, Carol's eyes glow. Only this time, she can see the night as clear as day and where everyone can see the glow.]

She speaks to Jason, "Jason, please! Co-operate with the man in front of us..!'

(E.m #2)'s eyes drift to Carol, then back to Jason, "Stop talking!"

Carol turns to where she can see Jason, and Jason can see her eyes entirely, "Please..."

[Each passing second, Carol's glow changes to a much darker green, then back to its original light green. The light green tint glow is recognizable to Jason.]

Inside his mind, he converses with himself, "So that's why you're here... You're the one... At long last, I see you once again, but only this time, you are in the body of just an innocent kid. 

(E.m #2) aims the gun at Carol. Instead of distancing himself, he plants the gun's barrel onto Carol's head, "I could care less if I splatter your brain everywhere in this truck! Now, turn around! DEVIANT!"

The immediate feel of the gun raises Carol's Heart rate dramatically. Her eyes begin to pour out tears from the fear of the situation, "Ok..! Ok...! Just let me... Just let me-... calm-... calm do-... calm..!" The glow gets even brighter than before.

(E.m #2)'s entire focus is now on Carol. Jason continues to talk to himself, "Do I allow this one to live? I want her to live, but she is not normal. This time of living, it's an immediate death threat if you were not one with the "Common Public". Maybe or, I can just let him finish her off. Save her the struggle for being hated and targeted by the "Common Public"."

(E.m #2) pokes Carol's head violently. Heart rate increases even more. Her chest, pounding and moving at the pace of her rapid heartbeat, "TURN AROUND!!"

[Carol is now engulfed in fear. Her breathing is now heavily labored. Her instinct forces her to freeze.]

Barrel attempts to intervene but is immediately shut down by (E.m #2), "Move or speak, and I will blow a hole in her head!"

Losing patience with Carol, "You got 3 seconds to comply! 3! 2!!" (E.m #2) plants his finger on the trigger.

"Deviant..." (E.m #2) pulls the trigger, firing a single bullet from the rifle.
