I turned up the volume and started to sing along as my favourite song played.

         The past few days have been terrible. Don’t get me wrong ,it was my dream to get into medical school become a doctor and serve people but attending med school every day, keeping up with projects ,no proper sleep and work has drained me completely.

          To let go of the stress Ria and I planned to have a fun night. You know what I mean by fun night right ? Dancing and booze, two great things when combined act as the best stress relieving activity and makes you feel alive.

         As I was lost in my thoughts , an image of James kept flashing in my mind . To be honest, I’ve been missing James. Whenever the bell rings at the coffee shop I hope it would be him .I wish I could see him again and try to figure out what’s wrong with me. Is it even possible to miss someone when you’ve just met that person once? Well I highly doubt that?

          I’ve never drooled about a guy but that doesn’t mean I am a saint. James is different , handsome and mysterious . This makes my medical brain feel something that I’ve never felt before.

          I turned down the volume when I pulled up at Rias and quickly sent her a text.

           “Is it really necessary to go to a club? can’t we just watch Netflix and eat food? After all the chaos and shit that I have faced this week I just want some peaceful time.” Staring at me ,Ria gives me a ARE-YOU-FUCKING-KIDDING-ME look.

          “Nope, not happening girl. You can have your peaceful time when we are back home. Now get your ass right here and pick out a dress ”

           “Okay“ Ria gives me a devilish smile which tells me she’s up to something that am going to regret soon.

          It’s been an hour going through her closet to find a perfect dress. I’m wearing a black strappy dress which extenuates my curves and gives me a hourglass shape. The dress reaches mid-thigh which shows off my creamy legs, makeup and hair all look perfect.

          “OMG!!You look so hot Elena and am sure you’re going to find someone special who will rock your night” I smile back blushing as we left for the club.

          As soon as we enter the club ,the music started  blasting in my ear and my nostrils are filled with the smell of cigarettes and sweat. Am greeted with the flashing lights and tipsy people swaying and dancing. We find our way to the bar to kick start our fun night.

          Ria quickly ordered vodka shots . I grabbed one and slowly gulped it down. The white liquid turning shades of rainbow due to the lights, burned my throat which made me twich my eyes. 

         I reached out for four more shots and my head started to buzz . I realised it was a wrong choice. Each and every sensation elevated, i was getting into a state of trance with loud music around. I quickly grabbed Ria and made my way towards the dance floor and started to sway my hips mimicking the people around me.

       Yelling and giggling at the bartender i asked for two more shots .He passed the drinks with his number, signalling call me. I giggled and gulped the drinks placing the paper in my purse. I started to swirl in my seat when I felt someone staring at me. i Quickly turned around and glanced.
