"Nnnngh, why does this spoon have to be so heavy!" Moaned Olivia, while trudging the spoon. "Shush! Just keep walking." Said Bakey, concentrating on the balance of the spoon. "C-can we t-take a break, please?" Asked Cakey, wearily.
"Fine, but just this once." Said Bakey, putting down the spoon. "Heh, at least our break ended right where the cabinet is!" Chuckled Olivia. "Well that's a good thing, we'll use this break to gain some strength so we can get Emily out of the cabinet drawer." Said Bakey, as he sat down.
"Do we have to? I'm too tired." Groaned Cakey, sitting up. "Yes! We have too! If we don't get Emily out of the cabinet which is losing oxygen she'll DIE!!" Shouted Bakey, furiously.
The thought of losing Emily made Cakey spring into action, "C'mon guys! Let's go get Emily out of there!" Shouted Cakey, picking up the spoon. "Yeah!" Shouted Bakey and Olivia, Pumping their fists in the air.
The 3 friends picked up the spoon and ran to the cabinet. They put the spoon in the drawers handle and pulled as hard as they could. The cabinet drawer slowly started to crack open and Emily could now see some light, coming from the kitchen's reflection of the moon.
"Keep pulling!" Yelled Olivia, starting to pull harder than the others. Cakey was merely quiet while pulling the heavy spoon, and didn't say anything to Olivia's comment (which she usually does).
"Hey Emily, d-do you t-think the crack is b-big enough for y-you to fit through?" Asked Bakey, pulling the spoon more slower. "Maybe a little more!" Answered Emily, looking at the crack. "O-Okay!" Said Bakey, pulling faster. "I think it's big enough to fit me now!" Yelled Emily. "Okay guys, you can stop pulling now." Said Bakey.
The 3 tired friends stopped pulling and plopped down on to the floor. "Okay, so now we're going to use the spoon to pull Emily out right?" Asked Olivia. "Yeah" Said Bakey, huffing.
"Hey, guys!" Said Emily, from behind. "AHHHHHHH!!" Shouted Olivia and Bakey. Right behind Emily was Cakey as she walked towards Bakey and Olivia. "Hey it's okay guys, I got Emily out!" Laughed Cakey, patting them on the back. The 2 friends stared at Cakey and said, "How did you-" Cakey cut them short, "Oh that, so I found these sugar cubes and stacked them to make a stair case then pulled Emily out, simple as that." Answered Cakey, smiling.
Emily and Cakey pulled Olivia and Bakey back onto their feet, and the four friends hand to hand walked back to the glass shelf together, as the sun rose slowly above the horizon.
