AT 14,000: The Swamp Desert
“Lady Gallu. There is a visitor for you” The voice belonged to a harpy that was perched on the ceiling. Gallu groaned as she looked at the dead body that laid on her bed chamber in its own blood and gore “Not enough to satisfy me. I hope this is a new mate would at least keep me satisfied a little longer” Draconic scales glistened underneath the moons as the queen of the rogue dragons stepped out of her bedchamber “And have the Naga clean this up, I want it sandalwood scented and have the sirens sing. Or you will be lunch my dear” She smiled to the harpy who scrambled away.
“Mmmmm, I hope it’s a giant or something more… fit for a queen.” She purred to herself as she strolled down her castle. Or at least what used to be a castle.
“Gallu! Darling! How are you?!” She groaned at the annoying the voice she knew only one person to call her that.
“What is it? Silver Dragon, what the hell does the powerful Merlin wants to do in our little abode?” She licked her lips as she sat on her throne before spreading her legs “Or mayhap you finally decided to die and go to the fates” She chuckled as she watches the debauchery that was all around her.
“While I find your place distasteful, young one. I prefer mine to be on the older side. At least as old as myself or older. But I’m here for serious business. The queen sent me”
“The weapon can do as she pleased, hnnn oh how I would love to hold that weapon in my hand. The places and beings I can destroy with a simple slash.”
“Careful, darling. Death is closer than you think. And he doesn’t like people talking about the queen like that”
“But she is a weapon, albeit a living one. A sword none the less and last time I remember, dear Alchemist, swords are your thing. So what does she want?”
“Your children are binging again and she requires you to stop that”
“So she ruins my mating season for that? Children are children, they feed on the weak and if the weak can’t fend for themselves they die. Simple as that. After all, eating swamp and desert creatures for so long can make anyone sick. And our dearest weapon doesn’t like people being sick. Oh great Merlin”
Merlin sighed, this queen was going to be the downfall of all dragons though his kind refused to acknowledge her and her mismatch of dragons. He sighed once more and held his head before holding his hand out. The air began to ripple before chains materialized around the queen’s neck and he merely tugged before sending the queen toward him as he placed a hand on her neck.
“Don’t force me to be violent…”
He looked at her before he sighed “You’re getting turned on by this aren’t you”
“Oh yes I am, be rough on me!” She moaned his name as he sighed and dematerialized the chain letting her go and sighing “It’s best you don’t anger the queen; she wouldn’t mind destroying half your population as a warning, especially with Ereshkigal herself authorizing it and you know the young goddess might be still new but she has shown great authority even Exile listens to her, and he never listens to anyone”
“Death? That man is a loner who would be caught dead ming….pffffftahahahahahah caught dead! Oh he fulfills my life. Now that is a man I would love to gain his powers”
Merlin rolled his eyes as he left the queen with another warning. Once he was outside her area he sighed once more and shook his head: “I can sense your chaos a mile away, Nyarlathotep. What do you seek, young one?”
The oozing darkness began to form a man who loomed over the Silver Dragon, his abysmal black eyes mocking the being “I would watch what you say around me, or would you rather I entertain you for a bit” He was met with another set of rolling eyes as Merlin sighed and merely ignored him. It was not something that the malign being liked but he had better things to do then deal with this particular Ancient.
After all, he could feel the chaos from this particular group. Returning to the shadows he began to seep through the place, little by little, a whisper here, a nudge there, a vision here, an empty promise there. He needed chaos to live and these were easy prey.
AT 14,500: Lilith’s Abode
“Your majesty, the rouge dragons have been mating and killing my children and even Lucifer says I need to take care of it, but you made sure we cannot deal with them yet” Lilith was fuming as her horns almost touched the ceiling of her own castle. The succubae have been dwindling in numbers and they have been getting more and more desperate to keep their population afloat that they began to migrate to different places.
The queen had been summoned to the realm in order to solve a binging problem when she was caught in the midst of the argument between Lilith and Tiamat, Mother to All, Tiamat’s oceanic blue hair and scales rustled a bit as she sat down and took a deep breath.
“My children are hungry, Lilith, I love them and wish for their wellbeing as any mother would. I believe having the Shapeshifter here is of no use”
“Your children are wiping out my children. And in accordance to the sacred law, while we agree to the circle of life, non shall binge the other species. And your rebellious children have been doing that. Come on! Help me out here”
Merodach was chuckling watching the two bicker as The Aboriginal Weapon shot him a death glare. He merely shrugged and spoke in a soft tone:
“Tiamat, Dear. I know you’re still not pleased with what your children had done to you, but you have to admit, even this is a bit extreme for the dragons. The noble being has shown the most restraint when it came to binge eating and you have to wonder what has gotten into them to start acting like incubi and succubae. And it’s not even their mating season. But their queen has been most distasteful. Merlin even said she was meeting him naked and just out of another mating session in which her mate was ruthlessly murdered after he was done. Do you not think it’s strange”?
Tiamat nodded to the group: “I agree with you. My children would not be so… distasteful. And I do not believe in such brutality. Very well, you have my blessing to do as you see fit.” She stood up, her horns brushing against the ceiling as she spoke again: “I shall be on my way now. I’m told my children have a surprise for me” She was smiling as she excused herself and left.
Lilith watched Merodach as she growled at him “You could have solved it EONS ago and you choose to do this now? Pray do tell why should I not rip you now!”
“Oh please, do rip me apart, if you can make it past her majesty”
“Merodach!”
“What?! I found it quite amusing that queenie over here didn’t even figure out the best way to talk to Tiamat was just tell her the truth, her kids are acting really weird for their species and the rebellious group cannot be ignored anymore. They are acting more and more like a bunch of teenagers who just want to know what they can get away with and we have already spoken with them multitude of time. I think it’s time to bring down the wrath of the Ancient Queen, that’s all”
Lilith sighed as the queen nodded to the two of them. She really did not want to stay in there but duty had her be there as she sighed and spoke in a soft tone: “Prepare with Exile and see whose time will it be, have his blessing and make the deaths quick and clean, Exile hates cleaning up after a messy battle. Keep Gallu alive for now, should she continue her ways, I’ll deal with her myself and I hope to Anu she does not put up a fight. Would that suffice, Lilith?”
Lilith nodded before she spoke in a soft tone: “How’s the Roomkeeper” she caught the fluster as she chuckled “I knew it; you have been in a hurry the entire time. You will be meeting him today again?”
The Shapeshifter cleared her throat as Merodach roared in laughter again. “Y-yes, well, h-h-h-h-he did say he was going to teach me how to summon Brahma if I need to, but I’ve been more intrigued with his …. Unique ability to wrap between the area so fast and just how we never heard of him. I wonder what type of life he lived before he became one of us.” Lilith chuckled as she spoke to her “Tell him how you feel it’s a good thing”
“I feel nothing! I’m just … more relaxed around him and he refuses to acknowledge that I’m a weapon. Reminds me of a few who are the same. Tell me what happened I’ll be on my way now. Let me remember how was it?” She moved her hands as she began to open up the portal. Blue light shown from the other side as she finally stepped through it. Once it was closed Merodach sighed:
“I really hope he understands what she is to us”
“Shush dear, he absolutely loves her, he’s just as idiotic as she is”
“You sure know a lot, Lilith dear”
“I’m the queen of the succubae after all, if I don’t know the difference between lust and love, then shame on me for being their mother. Now about your proposal”
Meanwhile…
“We need more!” Gallu was walking around an egg that she had in the middle of her throne. She sighed looking to the side as she found one of the harpy’s wing was torn: “How is she coming along, my beloved child”
“Please don’t kill me” The bleeding harpy screeched as Gallu growled and looked at the tablet beside the egg. “There is no tolerance for mistakes. This has to be perfect. I’m not whoring myself for nothing” She growled as she looked at the tablet one more time “I still need 5 more and this egg should be ready. My perfect child will be the queen of this world”
She purred to the egg as she chuckled “Come on, be my best creation.” She would then leave and return to her bed chamber as her next mate was dragged toward her. She needed to finish this and go hunting for the best of the best. She knew she will get the rest of those who refused to mate with her another way. All she needed was their genes. And with the healers and alchemist she should have enough. The nights were monotonous and none of her mates where satisfying her. She hated it, she hated them, they were beneath her, beneath her clan. The Rogues where the perfect miss mash of dragons. Not the stupidity that was the Silver Dragon. She growled as she looked at the being before her “you are weak. I’ll punish you and them” A quick motion with her tail and the blood was all over the bed as she sighed and left.
“Mayhaps I can help you?” The same voice that cooed to her before came again. She sighed “What?” The shadow morphed again to a young man “I got you a few blood samples. They are from the council. One if particularly of interest though the moment I tried to extract it well, here see for yourself”
He tossed the vials to her as she quickly grabbed them making sure no one fell or got destroyed. She noticed one of them was not only metallic in color but it was disintegrating itself, attacking itself and killing itself off “That? That must be the Queen’s”
“Well actually no, that’s Exile’s, that’s his essence but it refuses to be taken. I would recommend putting them in. The Queen I could not even go near her, let alone touch her. What I would do to just get a hold of a sample. But it cannot be helped. So be grateful, little one. I’m doing you a favor” He slithered away and she was dumbfounded again. The Council would be wonderful addition for her creation, for her child. She needed to hurry before things got desperate as she motioned to her alchemists to start their work.
