Part 2: Angels are never alone.
The angel spun in the sky, and dove at the necromancer. In that movement it reached a great acceleration, it fell with enormous speed and thus, it was crossed by the corrosive discharge that made it dissolve like paint in water. In this way, Mr. D'Gard became the first pagan to kill an angel.
After all, if it is possible to kill an angel.
As D'Gard caught his breath a light caught his eye.
Behind him, an angel had positioned himself and pierced his body on one of his sides. The necromancer elf had expended much of his energy on the attack and did not expect that he would have to face another battle so soon.
On the north side of the castle, Grigor Mar-Mortem faces another of the battle prior's angels. In the distance he observed that D'Gard, passing through the energy center of the angel, could end that. So Grigor began his lunar evocation:
It turns out that when the eternal mother ascended to the heavens she did not stop looking at the earth, two tears of blood ran down her cheeks and fell to earth in the shape of diamonds. When the twin moons shine high in the sky, their energy is conjugated with the sacred jewels of the tears of the night eyes. These jewels are the reminder that the gods still see us high in the skies and give us their power to live.
In this commemorative way, Grigor gathered all the vitriol available in his glove. The priest's sacred jewels were embedded in the glove of the lunar eyes. Two stones like diamonds that chilled the blood of the enemies of the waterfall domain.
The angel that gave off a striking light in the night sky was looking for the pagan priest among the trees. Grigor Mar-Mortem positioned himself just below the angel and unloaded all his energy against the enemy. It rose like a spear of light that impaled the celestial creature, with such bad luck that the pagan priest exceeded the limits using his reserve of vital energy. In this way he was immobile and lying on the floor.
A second angel was destroyed.
In the course of 221 years of potentate rule on the island, the natives had never killed an angel and now, in a matter of one night, two angels had fallen. The Mar-Mortem domain was said to have its defensive secrets in case it was attacked by the holy kingdom of Granheim, and it was no lie.
