When the rest of the knights finished the running course, Archer waved over two boys from the very back of the line.

"These are the two fastest runners in this entire program." Archer stated. "I assume you are Jace," he pointed to a boy with black hair with red eyes and red markings covering his body. "And you are Luca." The other boy with navy blue eyes and Raven hair nodded. "I would like you three to race against each other."

I looked between the two boys quickly, then dropped my head back to the ground. All I've been feeling in the past few hours is embarrassed, and it's all Archer's fault. How could he expect me to race against the two boys, who where definitely younger that me, that are like... Double my size!?

"Hah! Easy win!" Luca exclaimed. Jace nudged his gut and glared at him. Luca just rolled his eyes and wandered back to the starting line.

"It would be my pleasure sir, I'll do my best" Jace replied.

Archer guided me over to the starting point of the racing track. He explained that we can't use any of our magical abilities, only our phisical 'human' strength.

I don't know how well Archer expected this to go for me, since these boys are pretty much double my size and still growing.

A last minute decision lead me to turn around and walk back home, besides, it wasn't that far.

I started wondering if I should make a run for it, but it was too late. I was grabbed by the waist and pushed back to my position standing between the two boys, facing to field.

I glared at the ground. 'lets just get this over with!' I yelled into Archer's small brain. I once again waited for the starting whistle. It sounded and I took off running, this time keeping my eyes open.

There were a bunch of children crowded around the end line, approaching me a lot faster than I would have liked... Wait... They were running at me!?

I halted and darted back to Archer as fast as I could. He was coming at me fast as well! I didn't care, Archer have me a sense of safety, so I was going to run and hide in his arms, like I always do! And no one is going to stop me!
