Just as commanded, a total of 399,600 recruits were picked from each planet. They were all under the age of ten years old. Many of these students were the most unexpected picks. Most leaders, lords, and royalty were aggravated by the choice of the envoys because they never expected prestigious-looking envoys to elect low-class people with 'waste talents'. Most of these students could never even break a stone with their bare hands, much more so a rock by kicking it. This act provoked a lot of people to the point that some swore to ally with different sects, and schools to deal heavily with Omnilock school. They all felt cheated because the hard work of their children was not recognized as this could hurt the confidence of their children.
After the election, a congregation of no less than 700,000 parents, sect leaders, envoys, spies, assassins, and schools made camps around the recruitment quarters of Omnilock school to protest.
"We want justice! Retry our children! We want justice! We want justice! Justice for our children!" Most of the parents chanted one after another as they protested eagerly.
Looking from a top window in the recruitment quarters, a certain envoy was closely watching the protestors' habits just in case they tried anything unpleasant. "This is going to be a long day. At least, we have tonight to bring the recruits to Omnilock. If not, we may be in serious trouble with them." The envoy sighs helplessly.
"Sammi, come over and help us. Let's get the recruits ready, we leave in 30 mins." A figure shouts from the hallway as she approaches Sammi.
"Oh, Willa, I thought we would be taking them later on today. Why so early? Did anything happen, or are we just moving ahead of the schedule?" Sammi replied as he looked at Willa.
Willa was beautiful. She had emerald green eyes, dark curly hair, and more. She had luscious eyelashes that could instantly attract the attention of many onlookers. She had a nice curvaceous body that swayed as she walked.
Looking at Sammi, she replied "I just got news from Dario that we need to move ahead of time. Apparently, we have so many enemies on each side and they think it's best if we protect the recruits first. Plus, we will be laying low for a while and it's obvious the protesters will give up sooner or later when they realize we are not paying attention to them."
"Oh, ok. Please, be my guest." Sammi responded as he accompanied Willa to the resting quarters where the new recruits were.
There were 1000 quarters all over each planet. 999 of which were sub-quarters which were led by the junior envoys. On each planet, there's only 1 headquarters which is run by the senior envoy. The resting quarters weren't too far from the main recruitment grounds. This way, it is easier for individuals to sign up to be tried. In each Omnilock quarter, there was the main recruitment department building in which individuals will sign up to be tried. Each sun-quarters can hold up to 400 recruits.
"We have a total of 400 new recruits. Some of them are in the field practicing, while the others are either enjoying the scenery or resting, to be honest. Nevertheless, we still have to inform them" Willa replied as they walked towards the resting quarters.
From the outside, the resting quarters looked like a hotel. There are two buildings standing beside each other like a twin tower facing each other. These buildings had 5 stories, 50 rooms, and could fit 4 people per room. On the outside, it was painted white with a golden text which says 'Resting Quarters' on top. In front of the resting quarters, there was a water fountain that had a yin and yang symbol which levitated in the air gracefully. It spun rapidly as it spewed out multiple elements; water, fire, air, and earth in the middle. On both sides of the fountain, there were beautiful gardens that gave off a calm, and enthusing feeling. Anyone who saw this scene would be envious of the prestige of Omnilock school.
However, if they were told that this was the standard design for sub-quarters, I am afraid they will be too glutinous to withhold their greed. The front door was made of titanium, and it had a silver sculpted padlock in the center. Inside, there was a red carpet that led all the way to the reception. Inside, there was a very welcoming reception desk. 5 receptionists were very busy answering phone calls, attending to recruits, or walking to and fro. The walls were decorated with all sorts of drawings that depicted various mythical beasts and notable historical events. Above the receptionists, there was a chandelier that spun. Every time it spun, it looked like a dragon was creeping out of the ceilings as it peered down at them. The chandelier was made up of gold, diamonds, and various precious stones. It was very costly and alluring. Just the right way to welcome guests.
On both sides of the reception, there were two waiting spaces both in the front and in the back. Each could hold at least 25people per space. It had 5 long sofas and a table in the middle. Between each chair, there were stools that had various sculptures on them. It was magnificent.
As they opened the door, their facial expressions changed. "Just when I thought I had seen it all, there was still this beautiful scenery awaiting me," Willa said to Sammi as she sighed helplessly.
"I know, the school is full of so many signs and wonders. It makes me wonder how long it will take before we both know this place at heart. How shocked will we be by then? Wouldn't it be an achievement? Like, the value of the things within these quarters alone rivals the wealth of many top clans. Imagine, if the whole sub-quarter was then compared. What would it be likened to? Wouldn't our adversaries lose their minds? However, let's get to business. We have to tell prepare the recruits" Sammi says
"You're right," Willa says as she walks up to a receptionist.
"Hey, please, can you announce to the recruits that they should get ready. We will be leaving for the main headquarters today. Tell them to wait at the grand hall when they are ready." Willa asks kindly
"Sure thing." The receptionist replied.
A few moments later, the announcement was made. "New recruits of Omnilock school, please prepare all your belongings. You will be leaving for the headquarters in 15 minutes.
Not long after the announcement was made, a sea of students came through the front door like a rushing wave. Thundering chatterings and mummers could be heard as the students flooded in. It was so rowdy.
"Thank you," Willa replied to the receptionist. Not long after, Willa and Sammi disappeared to the grand hall.
---
15 minutes later,
The whole grand hall was filled with recruits. They all had a bronze garment with white outlines worn. The whole hall was filled with chantings again. The recruits were conversing with one another with surprised looks on their face. None of them even dared to be arrogant as they knew deep down that they never deserved to be here today. After days of waiting after their recruitment, most of the students became acquainted with one another.
5 minutes later, Willa and Sammi appeared on the podium. Not long after, the noise started to die down as more students recognized their presence.
"Welcome once again. My name is Willa, and this is my partner, Sammi. All of you are winners. Dragons in the making. Please, do not look down at yourselves. If you are willing and work hard, I promise you will soar. In fact, I bet by the next school competitions, all you will walk down those steps with your heads up high. Anyway, please, follow me in a straight line" Willa said as she looked at the recruits before her.
After her instructions, the students gradually stood up from their seats. Each of them got their belongings and quietly lined up as they waited for Willa to lead the way.
Looking at Sammi who followed closely behind her, she looked at him. "Don't worry, you lead the way, I'll stay behind to make sure none of the new recruits are missen. Don't keep them waiting now, lead the way captain. Haha," Sami said as he laughed.
After hearing Sammi's statement, Willa nodded her head in acknowledgment. After that, she walked down the podium as she started leading the way to the portal which led to the headquarters.
---
Upon reaching the portal, Willa waited for the other recruits to join their members. Over time, the number of the students gradually increased until they were complete. Looking at the faces of the new recruits, there were undeniably happy facial expressions on their faces. Who can blame them? None of these recruits have ever seen a normal teleportation portal, talkless of a super teleportation portal that was right in front of them. If not for the envoys, many of them will never even get the opportunity to see once in their lifetime. At most, they would be lucky to even catch a glimpse of a teleportation scroll. What a tragic fate these unfortunate children would have lived if not for the Omnilock envoys who elected them.
"Alright, listen up everyone. The headquarters isn't any joke. In there, you will see other recruits from other races, planets, and backgrounds. Do not make trouble, or else, you will be returned straight to your various families. I will be leading you guys to the headquarters where we will wait outside in tents until the senior envoy comes to welcome everyone in. It may take a day or two, or maybe even immediately. It all depends on how swiftly the other envoys are able to gather and coordinate their recruits to the headquarters. So please, be on your best behavior. As you are right now, you are not all officially students of Omnilock school, so do not get too comfortable. That being said, let's go" Willa says as she enters the portal.
After her announcement, the recruits all put up their best behaviors as they followed Willa through the portal.
---
After crossing the portal, they found themselves before an enormous space with other recruits from different races, tribes, clans, and dynasties. Some of them were from the demon race, angel race, sorcerers race, mystic race, roc race, dragon race, the human race, and more. There were a total of 399,600 thousand recruits present.
"Wow, I never expected everyone to already be here. I guess they will be getting there earlier than expected." With a sigh of relief, Willa turned and looked at the recruits behind her.
"I want to congratulate you all, and wish you all the best. Remember, this school is your best chance at changing your future forever. Don't you remember your past? People looked down at you. They spat at you and called you names, but you had no other chance but to swallow the shame and disgrace then. Your futures are very promising. Do not be deceived, you have all seen a glimpse of the prestige of the school. The real pride of the school is you guys. Now, go out there and make your parents proud." Willa mentally communicates to the recruits. Some cried, some were happy. Some were burning with passion. Everything they did after this, depended on their own abilities.
Not long after, A voice rang out "Fellow envoys, please bring your recruits before the portal leading to the school. We will be leaving immediately. Any late-comers can be led by their envoys directly to the school."
Upon hearing the voice, Willa and the other envoys started leading the recruits towards the portal to Omnilock school. What seemed to be a large congregation became an even larger congregation. How powerful, and daring. No other school has ever dared to publicly do such a feat! To take the trash talents and make them powerful men and women in the future? Who gave them such impetus to even imagine such? Unfortunately for other schools, they did not have the 4 high judges to lead them. Neither did they have THE CREATOR HIMSELF as the founder and backer of this school! If this was exposed to the public, I'm afraid no one will believe it. Well, I guess we will have to wait and see. Maybe they can really change the future of these once useless children. Just maybe.
The portal wasn't too far away from where they were. It was only a 45 minutes walk. Mind you, this is because most of these recruits didn't even unlock or awaken their bloodline. Many couldn't even use their bloodline because the blood within them was too scarce to even be rejuvenated.
Upon reaching the portal, a woman wearing a well-adorned green garment slowly appeared before everyone. "Welcome everyone, I know most of you are happy to walk through this portal before you. However, before this, I must talk to you first. Most of you have been maltreated your whole life and abused. Some of you were found on the roads, under bridges, on sidewalks, and even in the most deplorable habitations. I and the whole school sympathize with you. That being said, we decided to forgo all the other talents and dared to pick you instead of the geniuses. We want to give you a chance to change your own lives. Circumstances can affect a person, but they can never define you! You are all special, as there will NEVER be another set of students like you in the foreseeable future. Work hard, and make every moment count. You will be tested soon, so do not slack unless you want to be dropped. Goodluck. Envoys, thank you. You may all return to your various quarters now." The woman said as she looked at the great congregation before her.
Shortly after, the junior envoys bowed slightly as they left.
"Okay, everyone. Please, follow me through the portal. Don't worry, this portal can take 10 times of this. Hearing this, the recruits felt more relieved as they all approached the portal in their masses. One by one, ten by ten, hundreds upon hundred, they all entered through the portal.
