-----next morning-----
"Oli! Oh god, wake up! Oli!" I groaned in pain while Irene panicked when I felt someone placed a reassuring hand on her and my shoulder.
"Hey Irene, don't panic. We need to calm Oli down." I heard a shuffling sound and moaned in pain again.
"Oli, do you hear me? We will get you out of here. I promise." I felt something on my face and drifted off to unconsciousness again.
-----the next morning-----
"Vitals are okay and blood pressure is okay. Blood levels are normal and ah, you're awake Miss Gabelman." I nodded weakly at the nurse and she smiled a pretty smile.
"How are you feeling now, Miss Gabelman?" I frowned at her question.
"Peachy." The nurse understood and went to fetch the doctor leaving me in the hospital room all alone.
"Oh man, she is going to be mad." I heard someone said and made a weak gesture at the person. The person, well two persons actually, went into my room and smiled in relief.
"Thank god you are alive, Oli." I smiled weakly because I knew who both of them are. They are Irene Summers and Chris/Christopher Owens.
"Thank you guys so much for visiting me. I was so damn bored in here." I heard both of them snickered and I grinned weakly.
"Anyways, what's with the 'Oh man, she is going to be mad' thing that you had said earlier?" They gave a nervous glance at each other and sighed sadly.
"Olivia-" Chris started, but Irene interrupted before he could stop her as always being the impatient one.
"-your aunt, uncle, and cousin, Zyrus, were killed in the fire in your aunt and uncle's house." I immediately covered my mouth in horror as I stared at them in horror. Chris nodded sadly at what Irene said and I slipped lower into my bed.
"How?" They both gave each other a look before explaining everything. As they explained, I sunk even deeper into the bed in despair.
"So you are saying that someone was ordered to burn my aunt's house?! Who would want to do that?! After all, my aunt never had any rivals or enemies in her whole years of life!" I began ranting and both Chris and Irene cringed because they knew I would take the news badly.
"Oli......" Chris began but Irene placed a hand on his arm while shaking her head.
"Guys, can you please leave me alone for a while? I need to process this." They both nodded and paced out of the medical ward. I stared at the ceiling in my hospital ward in silence while trying to process what Chris and Irene had told me. A few minutes had passed, and I became impatient as I had not seen the doctor in my ward yet. I saw a nurse in the nearby ward and began to call her.
"Hey, miss. Could you get the doctor who was in charge of me?" She nodded and started calling my doctor but dropped the phone in horror after hearing from another colleague that the doctor in charge of me was dead.
"Miss? Is something wrong?" She shakily stood up and began to tell me that the doctor in charge of me had been dead. I started panicking at that news but tried to take a deep breath to not freak out and slowly managed to calm down.
"Miss, could you tell me how the doctor died?" The nurse nodded and told me that the doctor had a stab wound on his chest and I quickly told Lativa about it in my mind.
"It wasn't me. I did not materialize from your mind the whole time since the time you fainted." I nodded but frowned.
"But who did it?" Lativa mentally shrugged, unsure and I frowned. I looked at the nurse and mentioned to her to come close to me.
"Miss, could you send the info from the logbook to my friends Chris and Irene? The one who you saw was visiting me just now?" The nurse nodded and went to give the information from the logbook to Chris and Irene. I mentioned to another nurse and asked her whether I am good to go. She checked my vitals, temperature, blood pressure, and so on before she nodded at me and I thanked her, got out of the ward bed, and change into my uniform with the curtains down that Chris and Irene had placed on the chair before they went out of the hospital ward that I was in. I went out of the hospital ward and saw Chris and Irene waiting for me, hands outstretched. I nodded and took their hand and smiled.
"Let's go."
Hey guys. Sorry for the long wait for Part 3. I didn't want to let Olivia's aunt, uncle, and cousin die in a fire but I did it in the end because:
My brain: Let's make Olivia suffer.
Me: Nope.
My Brain: Come on, it still links to the story plot.
Me: Still nope
My brain: Olivia won't be depressed after that episode lah (Malaysian way of speaking for the lah. :) ).
Me: Fine but you owe me.
Yup, so this was what happened that made me wanna let Olivia's aunt, uncle, and cousin die in this part. Hope to see you guys soon. Bye.
