Phoena screeched, their voice echoing loudly in the white room they woke up in. Everything was the same shade of white. Their world was meant to be colourful, not so bland.
Galen rose to Phoena’s scream, bolting upright on his bed. He turned to face them, pausing as he took in their strange surroundings. Never had he seen a place like this, he was quick to grow curious at the strange machines beside their beds.
Bree casually relaxed against her bed, confident in letting the rest of her team investigate. Her hands twitched, ready for the cause of their problems. They would discover it, she would deal with it, same as always.
Sedge rolled his eyes at Bree’s behaviour, watching through the strange window in the door to their room. He was waiting for someone he recognised but had long since come to the conclusion that they weren’t lucky enough to end up anywhere familiar.
Kieran tilted their head to the side, listening to the strange beeps and whirls of the machinery as well as the people coming and going. They had been the first to realise that they had awoken in bodies not their own, waking the others to share in their displeasure. The world was ominously silent with it’s lack of a heart song.
Phoena the Mage. Bree the Barbarian. Galen the Healer. Sedge the Swordsman. Kieran the Rogue. The greatest heroes the land has ever seen.
Lilac the wallflower. Karla the brawler. Jason the studious. Brandan the jock. Blake the gardener. Siblings who stand out in their differences.
Their paths were never meant to cross, bound in separate worlds. Until something went wrong and the heroes and siblings switched places. They long to go home but they don't know how.
