Reapers, also known as Death Gods, lesser Gods, but still True Gods nonetheless. They were responsible for taking the lives of every unnatural death and guiding the souls to the underworld.
Lifa silently cursed, their elemental attributes cancelled each other, but the Reapers had the advantage in Divinity and artefact. Although they hadn’t taken out their weapons yet, as Reapers they were bound to have weapons meant solely for Gods.
As if on cue, the right Reaper took out a trident, a pure black one. From it, Lifa would feel highly concentrated death energy, the opposite of lifeforce. The concentration of death energy was enough to completely nullify all her abilities for hours.
Without a word she made the most reasonable decision. She fled.
The instructors were either dead or already escaped, either way she couldn’t sense their life signatures here. The rest of the Herols were people she didn’t know, she didn’t know it herself, but she was already thinking along the line of most Gods, she couldn’t care less about those billions of lives.
It would take a while, but Lifa would soon accumulate enough Divinity to step into the realm of True Gods and ascend to the Realm of Gods.
Nearby Entity: Ea used Skill: 7 Steps, a Thousand deaths.
Imminent danger! System generated shield self activating.
A near invisible blue energy shield covered Lifa in an instant, the fraction of a second after millions of cracks appeared on it.
As she fled under the assault, she analysed their skills.
[7 Steps, a Thousand Deaths: Death Gods Exclusive. For every step taken releases 50(unavoidable) slashes dealing 5000% ATK dmg + 150% Target Maximum Health + 40% Maximum Health + 70000*X(X= Current Level*4). All Targets are hit at least once, regardless of number. Ignores Fatal Attack nullification. Ignores Damage Reduction. Ignores Immortality. Disregards 50% Divinity. Cooldown: 0. Consumption: 0. Usage frequency: high]
Lifa shivered, this skill alone was too terrifying. It reminded her exactly how powerful ‘Gods’ were, she was strong, undeniably so, but against real Gods, she was still just an insect.
Nearby Entity: Decta used Skill: Song of the Death Gods.
Imminent danger! Shield depleted.
Emergency stat allocation. Stats provided by the Main Control System. Allocation authorized.
Increasing Health by 5,4*1012. Increasing Endurance by 2,3*105.
She heard a loud bang.
The plains were gone.
Everyone except the Vessels were dead.
Entity: Ea will use God Executer in 3 seconds.
Switching to the Main System.
Main System entering dimension.
Main System returning to Divine Empyrean Dimension.
Entity: Lifael Igurdis successfully teleported to a safe location.
Lifa opened her eyes again, the chilling death energy was gone, so was the endless darkness which covered the sky. She looked around.
There was nothing, just space.
Like the system said, she was absolutely safe here.
Hah, I guess I’m an outcast now. The news that they needed 2 True Gods to deal with me will spread like wildfire, I bet I’d be targeted by everyone, even the bystanders who didn’t participate in the war.
Perhaps the Herols would welcome me… Would they?
From my strength and ability, many would want me by their side, but doing so means being targeted by everyone else, no one would risk it. If my healing was invincible maybe, but they also know that death energy greatly suppresses me.
I’m too dangerous from a strategic point of view, they can’t take me in so I must be eliminated.
Hah, I really am an outcast.
Lifa thought back on the situation and reflected. She was stupid, overly emotional, but most definitely not dumb if it is about battle.
Notice: Sub-System Main Intelligence says Entity: Lifael Igurdis is too weak. System will attempt to twist ▯▯▯▯.
Notice: Wait 45:32:12. Take the person that comes as teacher.
She frowned, opening the interface and checking the prompts. With what she knew now she could say the Sub-System Main intelligence is the artificial intelligence managing the sub-system. The core, the main system resides in a different dimension altogether. Since it was about changing her strength, in a very unnatural manner. The unreadable part had to do with something about fate, destiny, luck and perhaps even time.
Lifa started to observe her own changes for now.
Due to the Divinity her outer appearance had a qualitative change, bordering at the peak beauty of the world, almost as if it was not of this world.
Life Sovereign was deeply connected with her Divinity, most likely the more effects it unlocked, the greater the amount of Divinity she possessed, due to the forceful unlocking by the system Life Sovereign could greatly boost the amount of divinity when activated.
Her basic attribute stats also increased significantly and she acquired extra attributes. Divinity, Charm, Luck, Destiny, Insight.
Her mindset also changed greatly. In just a few hours after getting fragments of Divinity, she had the mindset of a True God.
Mere mortals were insignificant. Nothing could harm her.
Lifa herself also detected this change, but she felt it was good. The thoughts of before were too naive, too focused on mortals, unnecessary.
Her current profile was vastly different from before.

Before she knew it, the 45 hours flew by. Just as Lifa was thinking the System made a mistake a person appeared in her vision.
It was an old man in white robes, there wasn’t much to describe about him. Everything seemed ordinary, so ordinary he looked like a random person's grandfather. The only thing which proved he was someone strong was the fact he was currently in space, with zero protection.
Noticing her the man approached.
“Hello young lady. I believe each encounter is Fate, may I ask for your name? I am often called Fen Tian”
