It was midday in a Berlin park. A nearby metal band blared on their guitars, as the frontman let out a guttural scream into his microphone. A wailing ambulance was parked on the grass, surrounded by wrecks of automobiles. Salvador Harrison stood in the middle of it all, clawed at all sides by a horde of women.
“I need to get rid of these sounds…” thought Salvador. “Before someone here gets killed!”
Salvador began climbing out of the pile of women, narrowly escaping their grabbing hands.
“N-now! Good Vibrations, Act 1!”
The blue teddy bear stand appeared in front of Salvador, resting on the head of a nearby woman. Salvador grabbed three pins with each hand, then tossed the pins – one after another. The first set of pins landed near a power outlet at the side of the gazebo, and the other set stuck in the thick cable plugged into it. The cable ejected out of the outlet. Ohrensplitter instruments and microphone suddenly cut off. The band members stopped playing, confused at their sudden silence. However, the wailing ambulance continued to plow through the park towards Salvador, and the clamoring women managed to pull the boy back down.
“Shit!” thought Salvador. “The music's stopped, but the nightmare won't stop unless I can get rid of that siren! And pretty soon, that ambulance is gonna run over everyone here! I... I've got it! Good Vibrations, Act 2!”
The muscular Act 2 appeared on Salvador's shoulders. It pulled both metal balls off its shoulders, and began spinning them against each other. One ball spun clockwise and emitted red energy, the other spun counterclockwise and glowed blue. Some earrings and necklaces in the crowd let out a buzzing sound.
“By creating a positive magnetic monopole…” thought Salvador, “And rubbing it against a negative magnetic monopole... I can... there!”
Salvador whipped his vision down to his thigh, and noticed that one of the hands grabbing at him had nail polish with blue sparkles. The nails were buzzing. Salvador reached down, grabbed the hand, and pulled up a teenager barely older than himself.
“It was a bit of a gamble, but it paid off!” blared Salvador. “I figured you would have let yourself be influenced by the effects of your stand to cover your tracks... which meant that all I had to do was pick you out of the crowd. And fortunately for me, those magnetic cobalt flakes in your nail polish gave you away!”
The stand user pulled Salvador in, attempting to kiss him. Act 2 jumped off Salvador's shoulders, and elbow-dropped the teen in the face. The user crashed into the ground, her nose bloodied.
“If you're not in control enough to recall your stand... I guess I have no other option but to knock you out!”
The teen girl gasped. She weakly held a hand up to Salvador. What looked to be red glitter flew out of Salvador's skin, and disappeared as it reached the user. The crowd of women suddenly let go of Salvador. They looked around, then crawled out of the pile, all holding their heads. The ambulance turned off its siren, and the paramedics inside started approaching the cars.
The nearby paramedics began attending to the park-goers. Some were trampled, some were concussed, most were just confused. Salvador peered down at the teen girl with the bloody nose.
“Wait a second…” said Salvador. “I recognize you! J-Lo, was it? You were a member of Passione who left to join that cult Tolk and Ray were a part of!”
“Tch. So what if I am?” spat J-Lo.
“Hm. Y'know, I'm glad you were the only one here... given how strong Tolk and Ray were, I definitely wouldn't be able to handle anyone higher ranked than you. But, I suppose that's besides the point. Act 1!”
Both versions of Good Vibrations Act 1 appeared, and placed all six of their pins in each of J-Lo's wrists. The teen’s wrists were pulled together – J-Lo struggled, but was unable to pull them apart. Salvador pulled J-Lo to her feet.
“Perfect,” said Salvador. “Now, I can take you to be questioned by my friends. We'll figure out what your cult wants with Giorno's treasure soon enough!”
J-Lo scanned her surroundings in a panic. She noticed the band members picking up their unplugged amplifier cable, staring at it curiously.
“Actually…” taunted J-Lo, “If you lean in closer, I can tell you our goals right now!”
Salvador chuckled, bringing his face up close to J-Lo’s. “Oh? Do tell.”
J-Lo spat in Salvador's mouth. He hacked and wretched at the saliva entering his throat. J-Lo took a deep breath and held it, just as the band started playing again. J-Lo took to her feet and ran away. The nearby park goers leapt at Salvador, and began to claw at his body.
“I just have to hold my breath until I'm out of range of the pheromones from Let’s Get Loud!” thought J-Lo. “That boy was right, earlier – I'm not strong enough to beat him on my own. But... I know someone who is!”
The nearby women continued to claw at Salvador. Good Vibrations Act 2 appeared, and quickly spun one of its balls on the tip of its finger. A blue wave of energy knocked away the women wearing metal jewelry, and those women crashed into a few others. Salvador spied a car driven by an old man in the street at the end of the park. He ran to the end of the grass, and jumped onto the back of the car as it turned to follow the street J-Lo went down.
“All right, there was a bit of a hitch…” thought Salvador, “But right now, J-Lo should be leading me straight to the information I was looking for! It's funny... I began the day focused on myself, and how I wanted nothing more than to confess my love to Georgia. But now, I realize... Georgia doesn't want a boyfriend who would mindlessly chase after her like a zombie. Nobody would be attracted to someone like that. Instead... I'll prove my worth to Georgia! I'll help find the treasure, and I'll solve the mystery of the cult!”
