Olivia calmly headed back to the grass patch beside building C, everyone’s lunch packed inside her bag.
Turner, that had been walking with her, told her to go ahead. He needed to use the bathroom.
It seemed everyone was late for lunch.
That log bench she often shared with Miller was already occupied. Miller sat there with the girl from the boba tea incident.
Olivia approached them without much thought. Their faces close enough to make her gulp in response.
“You scared me,” Miller exclaimed, only to turn back to the girl beside him the very next second.
“Olivia you always show up at the worst moment possible!” The girl giggled, and Miller smiled back at her.
Olivia always made everyone laugh.
Clumsy, poorly timed Olivia.
Right!
That was her thing. Olivia’s unique quirk.
She should laugh too.
Right?
To please her.
To please Serina.
Olivia ha known her name since that the day she spilt tea on her.
What a strange name.
Fitting for the main character of a rom-com, she had thought back then.
Now, she avoided saying it.
Turner appeared out of nowhere, clueless as ever
“What is going on?”
For a moment, Olivia felt something odd.
Kinship.
She had a strange feeling that, in the end, they were the same.
