We went on a date, going out to eat at a restaurant, it was quiet she didn’t seem to want to open up. Of course I would eventually get some feedback from her. We didn’t talk about the train or what she might have seen, I didn’t want to push her more than just average questions. I escorted her back to her apartment building, she seemed to have her head down most of the time. “Yue, am I not your type or do you just not like me.? I know I was a bit forward in asking you out but I honestly really want to know you better.“ She shook her head.. “I’m sorry, I didn’t speak much tonight, I..” I smiled lightly and spoke. “Don’t worry, if you’d like we can go out again, we can get to know each other more over time if that’s easier for you.?” She shook her head in agreement. I can’t help but smirk at her, her mannerisms are adorable. “I’m just glad to see that you want to continue seeing each other..” Before leaving her I took my hand and nudged her chin up. Her face was finally revealed and she seemed hesitant. “There’s your face. Before going I just wanted to see you for a moment.” I let go and she looked at my shirt. “I’ll see you soon alright..”

It’s been a little while since we started going out. She still is quite timid though she slowly has opened up more, she still shows a form of meekness, not wanting to show her appearance it she does speak a little more than before. “Thanks for the nice day, I can’t remember the last time I’ve had such a good time .” “Ha, I’m glad you enjoyed it.” She opened the door and seemed to be waking in. “Before you go, Yui...” Her head moved in my direction and once it came close, my lips reached forward. Before I was able to reach her, she backed up, put her hands up over her mouth and lowered her head. “I’m sorry, is something wrong.?” She shook her head and spoke somewhat meekly. “I. I don’t want us.. to move too quickly, especially in.. in those matters.” She looked away for most of what’s she said but looked at me for that last bit. She blushed through it too. I scratched the back of my head smiling lightly and spoke. “No. No I get it, I’m sorry, I just wanted a little...contact. But it’s fine, as long as you’re comfortable.” She grasped my hand. “Can we continue seeing each other..” I smiled and spoke. “Of course, when might you be free again.?”

A tattooed older man sat in a shadowy part of the room, he was seated smoking a cigarette. He watched as a younger individual spoke. “Boss, Ren has been killed, the body was burned..” He took a deep drag and blew the smoke everywhere. “Looks like we have a rat, find out who it is and take care of him, any vampire who tries any sh*t in my territory is going to pay for it..” “Yes, boss.”
