Akilah was puzzled “What do you mean, this is my one and only wish that I've been fighting for all this time, of course I'll be happy”

“Well technically it was the old Akilah's wish, not yours. I wonder if the new Akilah now wishes for the same thing.”

“Why wouldn't I...?” Akilah asked “I'll have my friend back. That's all I want, that's all that I've ever wanted.”

Akilah let out a deep and heavy sigh “I fear that I'll cause a riot and put the whole kingdom into a mess...” She said and sat silently for a minute before she continued “Why create a mess like that when I can just…Protect Adara, and make sure they never meet. That none of them ever meet her”

Akilah had thought through this plan thousands of times and this was the best course of action.

“You know...” Ladybug said amused “Back when you summoned me you could have just saved yourself the headache and just wished for your friend back”

Akilah froze for a moment “I... Wait...I hadn't thought about that...”

*laughing* “Want to hear more” Ladybug asked but didn’t wait for a response. “If you had done that you would not have had to kill anyone”

Akilah was already in shock by his previous words, but this made her curious and mildly annoyed.

“What do you mean?” She asked.

“Well each wish is different and personal, the same goes for the work” Ladybug said amused “For example if someone came and said 'I want to become the world's best doctor' then do you think I would make them kill people in order for them to master their abilities? Of course not, the missions have to match the wish.”

Akilah just sat there not saying anything, simply looking bewildered.

“Oh you probably would not have had spent six years either, since that also depends on the work” Ladybug continued

“I-” Akilah replied, the cogs in her head finally turning “Then tell me” she said with a smile “Why didn't you tell me this before!!”

Temper temper!” Ladybug said wittily. “Well I cannot change YOUR wish, and plus I was bored and you seemed to be fun having around”

“Oh I see...So this was all for your... Amusement” Akilah said with a twitchy smile.

“Yeah but also think about it. If you had just wished for time travel and went back in time and moved around with your friend. Could you have guaranteed that he would not have found you guys and done this whole ordeal again?”

“Well no, but-” Akilah couldn't finish her sentence before Ladybug spoke again.

“Well I can guarantee you that he would have found you guys. You see my little pupil; your friend and that man have connecting life threads.” Ladybug said gaining a gradually serious tone. “Meaning even if you hide her away on the moon, they will still meet”

“Wait how-” Akilah got cut off again.

“This is not something I should tell a mortal; in fact, I believe I've already said too much. The reason I didn’t change your wish back then was because I knew that history would repeat itself, with those two meeting each other.”

Akilah was silent, still processing everything that x was saying.

Ladybug sighed “Make sure you soak up the time you have been given with your dear Adara but be prepared because you will meet that man again.”
