A gust of wind caught the vase and a guy leaned forward and grasped it he was dangerously close and invading my private space. Even so I was grateful. The guy was about 5'5. He had short scruffy hair like leaves on trees and intelligent eyes that were electric blue, he had quite a slender build and in terms of looks was average at best.
The guy who chucked the vase was 5'11 he was incredibly lean and looked like your typical delinquent, his skin the same colour as espresso, grey eyes like storm clouds, he had chalky white hair with a texture that made it look like clouds. He raised his right arm so I assumed he was about to cast some sort of spell, he didn't seem in a particularly good mood either he was scowling and looked incredibly pissed; I definitely didn't wanna be on the receiving end of whatever he was about to do. To quick for my eyes to register the movement an arm gripped onto the forearm of the delinquent. He was a guy who stood at about 5'10 he had blond hair and distinctive scarlet eyes, he was probably the most handsome person I'd ever seen, the type of guy that girls (and maybe some guys) would definitely swoon over. His face was stern and almost expressionless from looking at him I couldn't tell if he was feeling sad, happy, angry (either he was completely emotionless or good at hiding it). Just like a puppet.
"Issa, this is not time to be starting fights" he said in a cold manner.
Issa turned his stormy eyes
The guy in front of me whose name I still did not know walked over and put the vase to rest on the stand it was anterior before the fight begun. Then he turned around and stood parallel to Issa who he looked inferior to in comparison. Even I could tell that if he were to start the fight again he would stand no chance; surely he did not think it was possible to win, especially given the circumstances. I feared for his safety, Issa clenched his jaw and I could visibly see his eye twitching. The shorter boy leaned forward, that was the last straw, Issa snapped and threw a backhand, just as quick the other boy took a step back and it's as if he used the wind to carry him further back.
They were about 3 meters apart now, apparently none of them wanted to back down. Both of them lunged forward towards each other, I could hear the other spectators gossiping away. Then without a moments notice the air went stale, the lighting flickered and the blond guy appeared he grabbed their wrists and redirected the attacks. Issa's fist hit the marble floor causing him to create a mini crater, realistically if a person were to do that they would break their fist, so he must have reinforced it with mana. This was definitely impressive for mages in training, however I was more impressed with the other boy. He had been redirected into a window upon impact his fist shattered not only the window he hit, but all the windows in the Foyer. People stared in amazement at the damage caused by their peers, some even clapped. One thing was for sure all three of them had definitely made a lively first impression on their classmates.
Amongst all the clatter a girl, slightly above average height stepped forward. She had pink hair, like cherry blossom, olive skin;her eyes were innocent and almond shaped, they were a striking green, like emerald; near her each of her eyes was a crescent shaped tattoo. Along with her uniform she wore two black leather gloves, one of them had a green crystal embedded in it, the other was empty.I assumed that the other glove at one point had a crystal just the same, maybe she lost it or it was destroyed. However her most prominent and striking feature was her ears, they pointed and leave shaped. She was an elf, I had never spoken to anyone of her background though so I was quite intrigued. It was quite normal to see elf's and dwarves in the the main houses, I had just never approached them, my social awkwardness got the better of me.
She scuttled to towards the boys who had just regained their senses, she stood in between them and then muttered something in a low voice. I didn't hear what she said and apparently the boys didn't either.
"What, if you wanna say something speak up, I don't think me or Iskander can hear you." Issa said boorishly.
I inferred he meant the boy with green hair, but why would he speak so friendly of him after fighting.
"Yeah your gonna have to speak up hon, I can't hear you I'm a bit deaf in this ear." Iskander agreed, while laying on his back and pointing at his ear.
" O...o-oh I'm sorry, I asked if any of you needed healing you shattered a window and broke a marble floor, so I...just thought you might be hurt." she stuttered
"No thanks, I think they'll decline your offer." The blond guy replied.
"We will?" Iskander said puzzled " Hey Issa did we have any plans that Toma didn't tell us about."
"Not that I remember." Issa responded.
The boy, Toma had still made no facial expressions.
"Get yourselves of the floor, we need to talk now." He said then he turned and walked passed me with the others tailing behind him.
