I experienced something terrifying.

School was the same.

It had the same jerks and the same boring teachers.

The same old classroom.

The same cafeteria food,

and the same little desks where I can barely push my feet through.

But,

it also wasn't quite the same.

You weren't there.

The whole day felt like a torture,

And every second I spent there,

I spent them wondering about you.

Did you eat well?

Were you sick?

Why is no one asking about Noori?

I experienced this...

and it was terrifying,

because I imagined a future where every day was just like this.
