Recently,

I've made a friend.

A little one.

A cute one.

He's a bit of a hermit.

At first he was hard to aproach.

With the rain over his head,

I tried getting him a refuge.

With the burning sun going strong,

I tried to offer him water.

None of that made him warm up to me.

It made me kind of sad.

But just recently,

he let me pet his head just a tiny bit.

It felt like a victory.

But as you know,

He's still a bit of a hermit.
