"I only want you to be happy, my daughter..." Leona gazes lovingly at her daughter. "While I'm still alive, I only hope you'll meet someone who will protect and love you more than the love I'm giving you, so you won't be lonely when I'm gone."
Hermione, on the other hand, only smiled at her mother. She doesn't understand what her mother said, but she knows she is only concerned with her well-being. When she heard that from her mother's lips, she was only eleven years old.
And now, five years later, Hermione is sixteen years old now, a lady who grew up happy in her mother's love.
Hermione is already awake at the crack of dawn. She was frantically preparing breakfast for her mother, as Hermione would be leaving for work at the market in the morning.
Commoners have a hard time living, and Hermione knows that. She was born and raised in the countryside and she doesn't know if she has some relatives from her mother's side. She has no clue who her father is either. Hermione is curious, but her mother, Leona, appears to be unwilling to discuss her father. So Hermione does not seek clarification.
"Mother!" Hermione called out to her mother, who was busy doing the laundry. "I'll head to the market now!" She walked backwards, facing her mother, waving her hand.
"Take care!" Hermione smiles at her and begins to walk properly. Leona smiles as she looks at Hermione's back. She is pleased that her daughter has grown into a lovely lady. Leona is aware of her shortcomings, but she has given her daughter all of her happiness and love. She's happy that she got to see Hermione grow up in a happy family. Despite the fact that Hermione grew up with only Leona as a family member.
