A seed

It starts

Fragile and small

It must be planted

Pushed into dirt

Drenched in water

In hopes,

That it will grow

It emerges

Pushing through dirt

A stem,

A leaf

It pushes

And grows

It stretches tall

But bares no flowers

You try to water

Put them under sun

But they drown,

And burn

The plant persists 

It grows

And stretches further

But still no flowers

You're furious

All your time,

All your care,

Wasted

The plant wilts

Slowly dying 

You realize,

That this plant,

Cant bare any flowers

But now it's dead.
