Faye's heartbeat which was racing a few minutes ago suddenly ceased at that very moment. Her mind was not processing the words. did she came here and wait for hours to hear these words, it was like everything is a joke. her decision to date Alex, her feelings, the confession she prepared, and Alex's simple but cold, shattering words, there was laughter echoing in her mind like mocking her stupidity.

After battling for few good moments Faye lifted her eyes to meet the indifferent blue eye she liked very much. Seems familiar yet strange. Her eyes were already red and tears were threatening to fall. she tore her gaze away from him and looked down at the floor and swiftly wiped her tears and stood up.

" Found you're true love? " she asked with a stiff smile the utmost she can prepare.

" Yes," this is all Alex can answer.

" do you have guess Alex, why I came today? " 

Alex was confused, except for ' that ', they won't meet up much. He doesn't have a single clue and was impatient to even think of any.

Faye stiff smile relieved a bit " Today is the day we started dating, our anniversary " 

Alex was further confused, it was not like they would celebrate, and if a miracle happens and he remembered, they just go to a restaurant to dine. it happens in the first year of their relationship. but the truth was Faye hinted several times to make him remember, that makes none of the other anniversaries celebrate.

Faye suddenly made up her mind. She delayed this confession for a long time. It was now turned into unrequited love. she can't drag this forever it's best to let out now even if it's already too late. " I came to confess my love to you " Her smile was turning more and more natural but her throat was dry and tightening choking her to death. she wanted to cry...cry to heart her content but not now, not before the confession not before stepping out of this apartment.

if Alex was confused before, he was utterly shocked now ' what is she saying? confession?! For me? after all this time '

But Alex didn't interrupt her as she strained a chuckled at his reaction, unleashing the words she caged for a long long time, that now it seems like contain nothing in that words " I love you, I want to hug you, kiss you and share the same feelings with you and want to tell each other love yous. I said I want nothing except for you to accept me but it was not true. I am a greedy person, I want everything, even a single trivial matter to experience it with you. I want you to love me wholeheartedly. I always felt, even if you are near to me, even if our body is connected you are far away from me. 

I try to hate you for not caring me, praising me, loving me, saying I'm beautiful, not a single sentence you have said, but I can't hate you, that makes it more painful for me. you know how hard it's for me. I loved so much that I willingly stayed in this relationship wishing you would change for better if I was stubborn enough to show my love but it's all only in my mind. you don't have a single thought about me, right? you don't even spare me look after having sex of course you couldn't have."

silent tear's we're escaping out of her eye socket unintentionally, the pain in her heart makes her cry more while making her words pausing here and there " you should have at least give me.. a chance to express my love for you, it's not fair..  fair Alex. How can you be this heartless it's not like you Alex, you're not...like this when I started to fall for you. how can you...you change like this " she clutches his shirt and cries leaning her body against his sturdy chest. She cried finally, she don't want to shed tears here, in front of him but she can't hide it anymore.

It will be a lie if he said he won't fall for her, instead, he never gives her a chance to make him fall. He always rejects her for everything, he doesn't want to tie down by these emotions but now looking back he was too cruel.  

 

He can only imagine how cruel will it be to reject by the one whom you love the most. In that second he thought of jasper. if he rejects him, his heart would be crushed like glass and scatter away as million pieces without a cure. This thought made him shudder involuntarily.

He just stands tall like a big tree not even hugging her which made Faye even sadder. She said things what she feels its not like a confession more like her expectations and disappointments she gets from this ambiguous relationship.

" Please hug me for the last time. can you at least do that for me, can you? " She purses her lips trying to block her sobbing sound, her body trembled. This is not the scene she imagined. Not like this. She doesn't want to be like this.But  she wants to let everything go and finish this relationship off now. 

Alex doesn't think that the day they broke up will be the anniversary more than that not the day Faye planned to confess him. He doesn't have any plan to accept but it makes him awful for the things he had done by not considerable enough. it's his fault for accepting the relationship. He was selfish to play her feelings and only satisfying his desire. 

He doesn't want to think about anything now. it won't make his decision change. He just hug her briefly and patted her back to comfort.

They stood like this for a short while before Faye departed. she can't stand the omega scent circling his body. She just wants to be alone, now when everything is over.

The moment she walks away it feels like something heavy was put down. she no longer has that heavy feeling of not expressing anything, she finally feels like breathing freely. She walks down the street thinking about every encounter that happened in their life. Meeting Alex at the party for the first time, drinking late at night with Alex and their friends. The night outs they experienced before getting in this relationship. Her confession on that day. Making him her boyfriend and now ending everything.

Like a movie the images were moving one by one before her eyes . she smiled without knowing. Now thinking about the feelings she had for him, it was like it happens in past long ago, maybe the feelings would have already withered, maybe she was the one to think that what she was feeling was love because of her stubbornness. it should have died unknowingly. Maybe it's best to break free from everything. suddenly everything feels light. Like she can finally live for her. she should have done this ages ago. 

Alex sat down on the sofa thinking about everything he did for Faye. More like he did nothing for her that's where the problem lies but it was over. when she confessed and point out everything he can't even reply her. He don't know what to say.' okay..done is done everything was over. I have to be good to jasper not good but best . That's what important now '

He pulled out his phone and enter into contact list, typed ' Love ' There it is his number. He was anxious to call him and hear his soothing voice but afraid of disturbing his good sleep little did he know that Jasper was wide awake to even sleep.

Few minutes after that Alex phone vibrated and the name the screen displayed brings a sweet smile and familiar warmth to his heart. He picked up and placed in his ear. There is no sound except their erratic beating heart. Alex bobbed his Adam apple and spoke first " japser " 

There's a lingering silence after that " hmm, are you sleeping " jas voice trembled because of his nervousness. 

Alex chuckled " No " 

" why " 

" Thinking about you, can't sleep. why didn't you sleep yet " Alex silvery voice dropped to a low whisper, his lips quivered.

" Me too. I miss you Alex " Jasper boldly declared. He wants to see him now but was afraid of disturbing him bht he called altlast to check him. He can't stop his restless heart. he wants to be near to him every minute.

Alex grinned ear to ear " Did you eat, are you in bed " 

" mmm ate and yes I'm in bed can't sleep because of you. what about you " Even though Jasper was an omega he was a bold one. 

Again Alex chuckled " Not yet and I broke up like I said " 

Jasper was silent. when they were in lake they shared a secret about each other. Alex truthfully told him about his relationship though Jasper was sad, he was happy for Alex to be honest with him. Alex told him that this was the day he planned to break up with her and tomorrow to meet him. He messed it up by their encounter but they were not unhappy about it, it's just add one more day of being together in their life.

" Thanks for everything " 

" what are you talking about, I don't even done anything for you yet. save it for later" Alex raised his voice, not accepting the thanks.

" okay I will hang up. go and rest "

" wait " 

" huh? " 

" don't hang up talk to me, i want to listen to your voice ".

" I can't think of anything to talk " Jasper voice was even lower. he want to talk to him but about what? 

" do you like me " 

Jasper was so quick before even finishing he answered loudly " Yes " 

Alex laughed out loud, place his hands over his mouth to muffle his laughter afraid of embarrassing his omega. " so quick, do you like me that much " 

The embrassed japser, not afarid of teasing said willingly " yes, so much " 

Alex was melted by his confession " Love you jasper " 

Jasper was silent, now was the moment he was truly embarrassed and shy to utter the word. He was so happy that tears we're sliding from the corner of his eyes " L..Love you Alex "
