“Ms. Richards? What might bring you here?” Andrea looked uncomfortable as Olivia stood in the doorway staring at her.
“Do you need anything?” Andrea repeated since Olivia didn’t move or speak, and Andrea was starting to get really scared and uncomfortable.
Yes, she was a grown man that could protect herself, but she was also a grown man that could easily be misunderstood.
Olivia turned to close the door as Andrea’s eyes widened and she stood from her seat. “What are you doing?”
“I know you want me.” Andrea choked on her saliva as she saw Olivia lock the door. “W-What the fuck are you talking about?” Andrea hadn’t even noticed how she had cursed out loud, as Olivia smiled.
“You even sound like her now.”
Andrea walked backwards as Olivia walked slowly towards the man, while taking off one piece of her clothing at a time.
“Oh my god.” Andrea groaned before she closed her eyes with her hands. “This is wrong, Ms. Richards. Don’t come any closer.”
Olivia smiled as she came even closer, close enough to touch the man’s chest.
Andrea felt sick as she felt the tears in her eyes. This was not something she wanted.
What was wrong with Olivia?
Andrea pushed the girl lightly by her shoulders as she walked over to the door of her office, but before she could unlock the door, she was pushed into a chair.
Okay, she had to admit that Olivia was surely strong if she could push around a grown-ass man.
“If Andrea doesn’t want me anymore, I should be allowed to want other people, right?”
This was a bad idea! Even Andrea knew of it as she shook her head with a frown, trying very hard not to look down at the semi-naked girl.
She stood up again but was pushed down once more, and this time Olivia made sure to sit in the man’s lap to avoid him from getting up.
Andrea didn’t know what to do as she closed her eyes tightly. She was ashamed of herself as she felt the tears slipping from her eyes.
Olivia didn’t see it coming as she looked at the tears slipping out of the man’s tightly closed eyes. She felt her actions falter as she placed her hands on the man’s face, silently asking, “Why are you crying?”
It was surely the first time Olivia had seen a grown man cry.
Andrea gulped before she sniffed, “Because I don’t want you to do this.” She opened her eyes as she stared into Olivia’s.
Olivia felt the familiar feeling she felt whenever she looked at Andrea as she let out a dry laugh. “Because you’re disgusted, right?”
Andrea frowned as she shook her head frantically, “Because someone like me doesn’t deserve you.”
It wasn’t an answer that Olivia was expecting as she was taken aback. Andrea took this moment to respectfully pick the girl up and place her on the table before grabbing something to cover her up.
The closest thing she could find was a flag folded on top of the file cabinet. Andrea wiped her eyes as she grabbed that before unfolding it and draping it over Olivia.
“Why are you doing this?”
Andrea sighed as she made sure that the flag wouldn’t fall of her shoulders by wrapping it perfectly around her body. “Because I don’t like you seeing so vulnerable and sad.”
“Why do you talk like you know me?” Olivia asked as she looked at the man in front of her. “Why do you always say and do things that remind me of Andrea?”
“I’m her fat—”
“That’s not a good enough answer.”
Andrea didn’t know what to tell her so she said what she had always saved up in her heart.
“I still love you.”
“What?”
“Fuck, I mean, she still loves you.”
Olivia rolled her eyes as she shook her head. “She told me she moved on.”
Andrea frowned before shaking her head again. “She probably said that because she doesn’t want to get hurt again.”
Olivia looked at the man before she sighed, “Why are you speaking up for her?”
“Because I can’t bear to see you like this. What if there was some other man and not me? You would’ve regretted doing this.”
Olivia rolled her eyes, “Sure, I would’ve hated myself after everything was done, but at least I’d feel something other than this emptiness.”
“Look, Olivia, you’re a nice person, you don’t need to bring yourself down just to feel happy.”
“You don’t know anything about me! So, don’t act like you do!” Andrea sighed as Olivia got up from the table to go get her clothes from the floor.
“And you think you do?” Olivia stopped as she turned to look at Mr. Hanning with a glare. “You said I—Andrea was selfish but do you have any idea how selfish you look right now?”
Andrea made sure to come close to the girl as she glared at her while Olivia stepped backwards.
“What if someone saw you and I together like this and assumed for themselves? You were ready to get an innocent man sent to jail just to feel something? You’re fucking selfish, Olivia!”
Andrea frowned when Olivia began to tear up as she sighed to herself. She really hated comforting crying women.
“I—I didn’t mean… that.”
“No, you’re right. I am selfish.” Andrea watched as Olivia went to pick up her clothes before she quickly dressed herself again. And as this happened, Andrea turned around to give the girl some privacy, but before she knew it, she had found Olivia pushing past her to run out of her office.
Andrea sighed as she tried to not go after her. She had to give her some time.
That was probably what she herself needed too as she looked at the table where Olivia had left the flag.
This was all too hectic for her as Andrea picked up the flag before hugging it close to her male body. She didn’t want this. She didn’t want to push away Olivia.
She just wanted to hold her in arms and kiss her sad eyes.
But how could she do all that when she was in this giant body, with these big hands. These arms weren’t even her own, so how could she even hold someone she loved in them.
And as Andrea cried into the flag, she realized how lonely this truly was.
And how sad this truly was.
