So they really did showed up here.

I noticed from the corner of my eye the sudden change in Blaze's posture. His body stiff and eyes widen in horror.

Fools like him love bullying those weaker than them but as soon as they're met will real raw sheer power they run with their legs tucked between their legs. He quickly grabbed my elbow and I shrugged him off, 

"We need to leave, your brother is here."

I ignored him, "The girl, what is her name?"

He glanced between me and her, "you mean Ari?"

Still ignoring him I walked over to their table. "Ari! Hi! How you've been"

Both Aaron and Ari stopped eating. "You've got to be kidding me" Aaron pulled the girl to her feet,

 "We are leaving.....right....now."

"But my waffles..."

"Bring the damn plate with you then," I watched as Aaron threw some money at the table and I watched the both of them leave. Silently following behind Jabari, the girl glanced behind her to look at me the Blaze. 

"Dude are you crazy! What were you thinking? I know he's your brother but damn." 

"The girl, who exactly is she?"

"What do you mean?"

"What type of person is she?"

I watched Blaze sat at the table behind the one my brother left from. "There isn't much to tell. She is literally a crybaby. She cries about everything. Probably the only good thing is that her dad is a politician and her mom's supermodel. In other words she's rich and her family has connections. Oh and she's my fiancee but I'm only doing it for the money though. Not her."

"That's it?"

"Yeah...I guess?"

"So why does Aaron hang around her all the time,"

"How should I know? I guess the dude likes her? Anyways, why did you call me all the way out here? I don't even like sweets."

I thought for a moment. Something was not adding up. I know Jabari, he doesn't waste his time on people. Something is missing. Could it be that she's his mate? No, it has to be more than that. A couple of random girls I asked in the hallway says that they were always joined to the hip. From even the moment before they started highschool. Something was definitely missing from this picture.

"There;s gotta be something else"

Blaze shrugged then looked around the room. "Trust me there isn't. She's pretty much lame and mostly shy. As I said, the only good thing is that her family is rich. Heck, all the Beaumonts are rich"

"The what?"

"The Beaumonts. You know, the oldest family of Dualve hunters."
