“What if I ask uncle about the fight night?” Tai Tai blurts out unconsciously. 

“What? Are you crazy? Don’t even dare to think of it. If you ask him, he won’t answer and on top of that he will think you are plotting against him.” Tai Taeyang refused. 

On the corridor. 

Tai Taeyang and Tai Tai walking together, side by side. 

Tai Tai, “but-“. He gets cut off by Tai Taeyang, “no but,” pulls him closer by waist “I can’t afford to lose you”. “But-“ Tai Tai again gets cut off from the scene of the Second Master’s admiration for the moon, standing on an empty corner of the corridor. 

Tai Taeyang and Tai Tai goes over to him. “Isn’t the moon, so beautiful?” Tai Tai spoke, startling the Second Master, Tai Ruo. Tai Ruo, “you two here?” Flinching. 

“We should ask you that”, says Tai Taeyang “father aren’t you going to sleep? it’s already 9.”

The Second Master, Tai Ruo, “same goes to you. What are you doing here?”

“We were walking towards our rooms and then found you here standing.” Tai Tai said, standing beside Tai Taeyang. 

“Go to sleep, else brother will punish you. “

“Yes, father.” Tai Taeyang and Tai Tai turns to walk, but Tai Taeyang stops on his tracks. “Father weren’t you there at the fight night?” He blurts out. 

Tai Ruo, flinches at the sudden questioning. He did not turn to look at his son instead he continued to admire the moon. He stayed silent. 

“Then I am taking your silence as a no.” Tai Taeyang “where were you that time?”

“I was young and was studying and training my skills. I was not that effective in using my sword, so I did not participate in the fight night.”

“But I heard, you were pretty good at that time, and that you were there that night.”

“Shut up! How can you believe others? No one is alive of that time.” His voice shaking a little. 

“But father we heard them from our men.”

“Stop. Stop right now. Go to your room and sleep.” Angry. “You two are much younger you don’t have to interfere in these matters.” He pauses for a bit. After calming down, he continued, “go to sleep you two need a lot of rest.”

Tai Tai, “yes, Second Master. Goodnight.” He was silent, the whole time the father and the son was having the conversation. He thought it would be a nice chance to take Tai Taeyang away inorder to prevent him from getting beaten by his father.

Just like this, Tai Tai, holds on to Tai Taeyang’s arm, pulling him towards their rooms.
