I have found an interesting individual. He claims to be a survivor of the devastating Sorhin Hellstone bomb attack, something that happened in 3924! Few can live for that long.
The individual identified himself as Ahem, a name which I didn’t know was common or even used in Sorhin. If it was ever used, it was probably centuries ago, archaic by now. Yet despite not even being from Sorhin, that name might be from far back in this city, a city without much culture or even history. A strange choice by the so-called “survivor.” But what surprised me about this individual is his incredibly nightmarish, shadowy, dark, and demonic form. Blue eyes and mouth reflecting the fire inside of him.
It seems he is made entirely of Hellstone, something never tested on humans before. It intrigues me, and I believe he has answers to many questions.

Ahem’s body and abilities are incredible. I’ve studied it heavily, and it’s something to marvel at. His body’s outer layer is dry Hellstone protecting the inner ones. The second inner layer is made of a Hellstone core, which looks like it's constantly moving, as if it was a flame. But what’s incredibly interesting is how that core renews the body and creates unused and active Hellstone again and again. A marvelous process! Keeping the properties and the form’s abilities intact.
Yet, the way Ahem looks, now that’s still a mystery. Whenever we have tested Hellstone forms, the bodies are kept as they were before the fusion, but he is still this “demon”. Ahem suggests he isn’t actively manipulating his body to make himself look like this, but what kind of process is making the Hellstone warp an organism’s form? This should surely keep being investigated.

This individual has told me his story, in the many conversations we’ve had. It’s tragic, and sad, revealing the horrors of Techtronum’s bombs. Far back into Sorhin…was he truly a survivor? I pity Ahem, not asking for anything that happened to him, yet now being the way he is. And the pressure of the lives he “carries” with him, something pitiful yet also…intriguing. Something I’m yet to understand.
But what really got me thinking is this brother of his. Kyle, I believed he called him. Another sad part of Ahem’s story, especially hearing how they used to be great friends in the past, but the Wasteland forced them to fight. Kyle apparently combined with Hellstone as well, but not as Ahem did. The way he survived the fusion with Hellstone and the “gooey” material inside that bunker is strange. Yet there aren’t any results that describe that sort of material, not in any experiments we’ve done. Maybe Techtronum kept things hidden? Could those opposed to them have tried to do some good? They could have…but what exactly was that they did?

I’ve been slowly learning to control the nanotech suit. Ahem’s taught me how to change my shape and form, even up to many flexible, usually impossible ways. It took us a week to master it, and in that time Ahem found out that there was no need for Kyle's body sample to give him these “slimy” abilities. I assume it is because his outer body is that “dust” he called dry Hellstone, isn’t it? Well, “dust” is not completely solid, making Ahem have those abilities. That’s why Hellstone is so explosive, the outer dry layer isn’t the most stable. Yet, Ahem seems to have an insane amount of “dust”, making it safe without even realizing it.

I’ve done extensive tests on Ahem’s core, and I have been able to identify it. It’s not like any other I’ve had the chance to investigate. It was more concentrated, and instead of overlapping matter as usual, it completely fused it.
So then, with humans, which we haven’t yet tested, Ahem and I discovered something intriguing. People merged now strangely don’t rely on their natural bodies. As if life itself was reliant on souls. Ahem made me realize that people could have an outer body made of a completely different material, and still go on living. This was further proved when I investigated my new body. I didn’t have any cells, the nanotech suit was completely merged with me now. My natural body is no more.
