“Welcome to ‘Koffee Klub’ , what can I get you?”

Sorel was at his part time job in a cafe called ‘Koffee Klub’, finishing up his last order before his break. When he was done he went into the backroom, which already had someone inside. 

“Ugh its Ash.” Sorel says this sarcastically with an exaggerated eye roll and then laughs with Ash-short for Ashton. Ashton was practically Sorel’s only friend, but Sorel wouldn’t admit it. Ashton was also a big brother figure to Sorel, something that his biological brother could never be.  

“Ew It’s Sorel.” Ash replies back and they both laugh again at there false disgust for each other. 

Sorel feels a buzz in his back pocket, he pulls out his phone and sees a text from Carren. 

“When are you done with work? I’ll pick you up for the first time, sweetie~~ <333” as Sorel’s about to reply Ash speaks up from behind him. 

“How can your lover boy be so sappy?”  Ash makes a gagging noise after commenting on Carren and his texts. 

“Hey! Why’re you looking?” Sorel jumps at Ash’s sudden annotation and covers his phone, embarrassed at what his friend had witnessed.

“Instead of asking why I'm looking, you should be asking why Calvin here sounds like a boyfriend from a kids show.” 

“His name’s Carren, not Calvin or lover boy, don’t forget it again” Sorel’s tone gets a little more serious, clearly annoyed at Ash’s remark, but Ash doesn’t back down and continues to pester him. 

“Whatever his name is, you're smitten for him and I can't watch. What do you like about him so much anyways?” Ash questions Sorel sincerely as he had never met Carren, and has only heard about him through Sorel. 

“Wait, don’t tell me, I know what you're gonna say. He’s smart, handsome, athletic, and every other quality a man could want, and you know this even though you've only been dating for 4 months.” He says this in a sarcastic tone, evidently not believing in Sorel’s partner.  

“He is, so don’t say it like that! You’ll know when you meet him, he’s picking me up today!” Sorel’s voice gets a little louder as he refutes Ash’s sarcasm. 

“Ok fine! But I bet he’s not any better looking than me!” Together they agree to let Ash meet Carren and they wait until 6 PM when the cafe closes to wait. Sorel earlier texted Carren to come to the front of the store to meet Ash, so they knew it was him when they saw a tall figure walking over. 

When Carren reaches right in front of them wearing a neat blazer looking very crisp, Ash’s breath hitched for a second and he mumbled under his breath. 

“Well that's one bloody handsome man.”
