The kingdom I have the biggest connection with is the Southern queen. All the other kingdoms are also ruled by descending female. There have been debates about letting women run things, but they all had no say in the matter. The queen of the Southern empire is queen Falon.

    Although we have traded and sent letters I have never seen her in person. I was sitting at my tea table talking with my ladies in waiting. "Have you and emporer Laizen talk about Lovers and mistress's"? "Whatever do you mean Lila", I asked. "Do you know if he wants a mistress", Kamela asked.

    "I've never thought to ask him, I guess I will in the morning". The next morning I went into his room to ask him. "Hello, Laizen we need to talk", I said opening the door. He was lying in bed with another woman. I was filled with rage and anger and needed an excuse to lock her up.

    If I did without reason I could be locked away and or lose my title. "Guards, send her away for trespassing on royal grounds"! "No, you can't do that I invited her in"! "Last time I checked I own this castle, not you". He grunted before throwing a pillow at me.

     It just barely missed my face. "Watch yourself Laizen, you may be of the royal family but I am still your ruler". I left the room and stormed outside and into my carriage. "Where are we going your majesty"? "We will be going to the Southern kingdom to meet queen Falon".

    The carriage rode off and within a matter of 2 hours we arrived in the Southern kingdom. I stepped outside and looked at the castle. It was larger and more beautiful then I had expected. I heard it took 10 years to build. Queen Falon was outside talking to an official. "Hello Miss", she greeted me. 

    "I'll talk to you later Gerald", she told the official. "Hello, are you Queen Falon", I asked. I didn't know how to find her when I have never seen her before. "Yes I am, and you are"? "I'm Empress Rixona, the ruler of the Rix empire". "You're Empress Rixona", she asked with a surprised face.

    "Yes I am, and nice to meet you". She bowed infront of me and shook my hand. "No need to bow, and call me Rixona", I said with a smile. "Yes thankyou, call me Falon". We started to walk the royal grounds as we talked. "What brings you to the Southern kingdom"?

    "I have just discovered that my husband, Emporer Laizen, wants to take in a mistress". "I've always thought that mistresses and lovers were stupid". "It's just a fancy was to say the person your partner is cheating with". "Does your husband with to take in a mistress"?

    "Who James.... yes, yes he does". "You're not upset about it"? "No, atleast he told me instead of bringing some random woman into our lives". "Oh, well do you plan to take in a lover"? "I do not know, maybe". "Out of revenge or out of desire"? 

    "I wouldn't want to take in a lover out of revenge, it would be unfair". We stayed quiet for a bit. I stopped walking and said, "It is time that I return to Rix, it was nice meeting you Queen- I mean Falon". "It was nice meeting you too Rixona".

    I got into my carriage and went back home. When I got to the castle gates Laizen was waiting for me. "Where were you Rixona", he asked. "Who does it concern you, Laizen"? "Because you are my wife and have been gone all day"!

    I ignored him and went up to my sleeping chambers. That night it was hard to sleep, knowing my husband wanted another woman. Why was I not enough for him? It made no sense as to get another woman, whilst still loving me.

    My ladies in waiting knew so they were quiet. While in the tub they didn't say anything. "It's okay guys you can talk about it". "I think he's a jerk and a horrible husband", Mina shouted. "Anyone would love to marry her highness and not want anyone else", Kamela said.

    "Men are just greedy, they will always want more than they need and have". "I don't know why he thinks it's okay, to invite another woman into his house who'm he will seduce". While they talked I was quiet. It was kind of nice to hear their opinions.

    After getting dressed I was alerted by a royal guard that one of the queens were here to see me. I went outside to see Queen Falon. "Hello Falon, what brings you here"? "I'm here to greet a friend, we are friends right"? "Of course we are".

    "How about we sneak off some where more quiet", I asked. We put on our cloaks and had a driver drop us off in town. We looked at shops and talked as we walked around. "Come here Rixona, I need to tell you something", she said pulling me into a small yurt.

    "What is it Falon"? "James has chosen a mistress, she moved in this morning". "She bothers me so much that I want her dead"! "I thought you would be fine with him getting a mistress"? "I thought so too, yet now that he's gotten one it makes me sick thinking about it"!

    "Well what are you going to do"? "I'm going to get a lover, out of spite". "Are you sure that is what you should do"? "Yes, I'm very sure of it". "Well I hope you make your plan works out".

    Falon stared into my eyes as if there was something she had to say. "What is it Falon"? "I um...", she stuttered. She grabbed my arm and pulled me towards her, then she kissed me.
