“Dude, really?” I laughed.
“What about you?”
I pointed towards Snowy, “I came here to get him. But I can’t get to the roof.”
“Why don’t you just call him?”
“Oh, yeah, that’s a good idea. Snowy! C’mere Snowy!” I yelled loudly. He didn’t even look my way, but a few students circled by the window to see what was going on, “Uh, ok. Let’s see, I could always just take a broom up there.” I offered.
“Sure, but you have to ask someone for it.” I sighed once more.
“Ugh! I wish I could fly!” I closed my eyes, “Now I’m all pissed off!” I growled out.
“Dude, chill. It’s not a big deal. It’s like whatever, he’ll come down at some point, right?” she smiled.
“I mean I guess, but I wanna get to know him better. Right?” I whined. “C’mon, I’ve done this before, flying! Okay, um wind stuff, I guess?” I closed my eyes, but nothing worked, “Whatever, let’s just go back now.” I groaned.
I walked off with her ranting about something, “Hey! Hey stupid! Look down!” Andrea ordered, shouting.
“Huh? Why are you ye-ahhh! Oh my god! What the hell?!” I exclaimed fearfully. I was standing on a single step, halfway in between the ground and the roof, “Ah, fuck! How do I get down?!”
“Just chill and keep walking forward,” she shouted from the ground. I nodded and cautiously moved my foot up, one of the steps from behind moved in front of me, stopping me from falling.
“Woah, it worked.” I grinned. I kept going forward, extremely slowly until I made it to the roof. “Hoh, mission accomplished.” The stone panels reverted to where they were. “Cool, how do I get down?” I laughed. I carefully walked up to Snowy, “Hi Snowy. I’m Concord, nice to meet you. Can you come down?” He screeched, rejecting my request. “Sorry, did I do something wrong?” He only yelled nonsense, right he can’t talk. I saw a flash, that seemed to represent something along the lines of the wrong name, “Snowy’s not your name? Do you have a different one?” I questioned. An image appeared once more, it was pyramids, then the sun. “Egypt? Sun? Uh, ok, um, like sun god?” I said with uncertainty. He screeched in agreement, “Oh, uh, I know this! The Egyptian Sun God Horus! Right? Your name is Horus?” He screeched in agreement. “Alright, Horus, shall we?” He flew over to my shoulder, sitting down and yawning slightly. “Right, okay. Getting down. How do I do this?” He sighed impatiently and flew off my shoulder, allowing himself to fall, not putting his wings out, “Horus!” I shouted. I jumped off the roof, catching him, forgetting that he could fly. I braced for impact but opened my eyes to find that I was slowly floating down. My shirt was poofing slightly so that you could see my bra. I looked down to see Andrea, my face warmed up as she covered her eyes. I let Horus go, and he flew over to Andrea, I fell to the ground with a thump. “Well, that went well.” I grinned.
“Um, I guess.” Andrea agreed although it seemed insincere.
“What’d you mean ‘I guess?’, it worked. Horus is here.” I said, waving my hand at him, “Speaking of, come here please.” I grinned. He flew back to me and stood on my head once more.
“No, uh, look over there.” she requested, pointing towards the school. I turned around to find that many students saw me get up to the roof, then get back down.
“Okay, so not so good. I suppose.” I laughed awkwardly, scratching my head. “It’s, it’ll blow over, right?”
“No, nothing blows over in this school.” she rejected sternly.
“Ok, wow, you okay?”
“Fine,” she grumbled.
Everyone had already left from the windows, I shuffled back over to her. I raised my hand to her head, although it was quite hard because she was tall, and patted her head, “It’s okay.” I smiled warmly at her.
“I-I guess.” she nodded.
She ruffled my hair, “Stupid, I’m not a kid!”
“Yes, yes, of course.” she grinned.
“Whatever,” I grumbled.
“Now, shall we train Horus some more?”
“Oh yeah, he told me his name. Through like pictures or whatever.” I explained
“Wow, impressive. Hold on, Horus? Like Egyptian Sun God Horus?” I nodded, “Your Familiar is a god?!?!”
“Um, I guess. I don’t think so-maybe though…? Horus, are you the Egyptian Sun God?”
He screeched, but nodded his head, “What?! What the hell?! That’s impossible!”
“We could always ask Ms. Commerce.” I put my arm out for Horus to jump on. He jumped on and I scratched under his feathers, he leaned into it.
“Why would we do that?”
“Because I’m sure that she would have an explanation.”
“I guess….” she agreed.
