And so, Kyle became more cautious, however, he still wanted to land a painful hit on Gellio like he had done with him. He stretched his arm as far as his slime body could, getting close to Gellio's body. The opposing brother did the same, except instead of aiming at Kyle, his arms swerved around his body and went to two nearby trees in the forest. Then, out of pure anger and frustration, he crushed them against where his brother was.

  Kyle rapidly avoided them, his side still aching painfully because of Gellio's previous attack. The injury worsened, to the point that he could not efficiently block, let alone attack. So, the slimy young man resorted to simply tearing off that piece of his body. It painfully, but it was nothing compared to his previous pain. With this, he grew more agile, and more careful instead of recklessly attacking and mocking Gellio.

  This made Kyle almost impossible to reach for Gellio, all his strikes missing. Yet, even if he was easily avoiding everything, Kyle never lost his immense concentration to dodge and avoid, never even going on the offense.

  Gellio lost the sword, feeling it drag him down. His slimy dark hand turned into a simple fist. Seeing how hurt Kyle looked by his blue fire, he painfully brought it up to his fist. He darted once again, bringing his flaming fist up onto Kyle, who unfortunately swerved to the right at the last moment. He seemed to see each and every one of Gellio's movements and attacks, always barely avoiding to give his brother a sense of pride and making him think he had already accomplished it.

  The dark figure knew this, and right after he missed his attack, he quickly made his arm into the long blade, and swept up with the weapon up to Kyle's chin and stabbed all his face, in a horrible slimy and green-blooded display.

  Kyle immediately fell to the floor, his face broken in two, and barely distinguishable. Gellio stood up, slime blade still in his hand, and feet in Kyle’s chest. His grin once again came to his face, no longer concentrating immensely on dodging and parrying. 

  “I used to love you Kyle, you were a great brother. But the Wasteland does not appreciate love. We both have changed, for the worse. But now, Kyle, you have interrupted me from my labors in this damn place. I really don't want to do this. I want to love and hug you, to spend time with you, to get out of this place together. But, you have made everything worse. I’m sorry brother.”

  Gellio then cleaved his hand-sword to the floor, expecting a quick death to witness. But Kyle simply spread himself so thin that he merely became a medium-sized pool of slime, and quickly spread everywhere dividing and going away. 

  And Gellio was alone once again.
