"The sun is setting in his sky, time for him to say goodbye: Goodbye warm and goodbye light, hello wind and cold of night" 

Sometimes our dreams can only stay that way, as dreams, for reality is a much crueler nightmare than unattained desires. Just as the wind carries on a gentle breeze, so too does it bring violent storms and ferocious gusts. Reality is all the same. It can be a gentle breeze or a violent storm, in which its outcome is all in the hands of fate itself. 

There lives one such man who understands this the most. He was a simple bard; eager, determined, and racing for a glimpse of the spotlight. This bard had many odes that were inspired by the blessed lands of which he lived in. He had one such song very dear to his heart. A simple lullaby that his late mother once used to soothe him as a child. And just like the seasons, the cycle of shared hymns continued, as the bard passed on this simple tune to his own little girl. 

The bard's little girl was obssessed with the gentle ode. Almost everyday, those passing by could always hear her humming to its tune as she played or did chores, which also made the bard smile like a cresent moon. But like all great songs, times like those must come to an end. 

If this bard were anything it would be a lucky one. After years of performing on the street, in taverns, and bars, he finally recieved a real and well-audeinced gig in the most bustling city in all of the world. And without a second thought he quickly left to pursue his life long dream. Upon arriving, he was in awe of the city's vibrancy, both during the day and at night. A busy sea port and grandeur mountain top views, were only some of the many things the bard first experienced. 

Then came his time to shine. A request made from a well-known restaurant paved the way for this bard's success story in the city. Night after night, day after day, lyrics and lyre tunes filled the city air. Encore after encore, the bard swiftly illuminated the atmosphere. And as his lifelong goal was pursued, a euphoric sense of accomplishment entered his heart. A feeling he had never truly felt before, a feeling as if his heart had been set ablaze. And so, the fun ended with a bang, or more specifically, a barage of fireworks to fill the night sky. 

The next morning, the bard picked out a few gifts for his daughter. A kite from a toy seller and flowers from the mountains. 

The bard belived he'd bring her here the next time he has a gig. The vibrant city life and playful atmosphere was sure to make her jump for joy. 

And when he returned home, he went to where his daughter was and placed the flowers next to her, while handing her the kite to let drift in the wind. He then gave her a big hug with open arms and then began to burst into tears, wailing at the setting sun. But why tears, you might ask? Was it his fufilled satisfaction? Or the fact he had to leave it? Neither, I think. I believe it was the grave which held his gifts that made this father cryout a mellowful song. 

"Time to rest now, sleepy-head, do not fear the night ahead. I will stay here by your side, stay until the dawn arrives"
