That night we had some fun and it was amazing. I felt more happy than I had ever had with Laizen. Falon was special. She was an overal beautiful person. The next when I got home Laizen said nothing after I had been away all night.

    When I got back to my room my ladies-in-waiting asked about my night. I told them everything, except from the naughty things at the hotel. A bird sat on my window sill. I went and got the note off it's leg. "I had an amazing night, hope to see you soon- Falon".

    I put the note in a drawer and closed it. "What was it"? "Nothing just a thank you from Queen Talia, about the ball". "Oh, how kind of her to thankyou you". Gerald came rushing in,"You're majesty there's a very large issue"!

    I followed him calmy downstairs and outside. "What is it Gerald, calm down". "Random mages have been popping up every where in the nation"! I was shocked, a mage hadn't been borned since the early 1700's. It had been almost a centurary.

    "Most people have been said to wake up a mage this morning". "How many people have reported this"? "Over one hundred your majesty". "Call two more officals and Laizen, tell them to search all of the kingdoms including Rix, and find all of them". 

    "If not already here, bring them to Rix", I said. I called a carriage over to bring me to the Southern kingdom. I had several carriages follow behind, to bring back any mages. When I arrived I met with all of the reported mages. It was just as Gerald said.

    They claimed to have just woke up a mage. Water mages, earth mages, animal mages, they all were appearing. I was approached by a knight of the Southern kingdom. "Empress Rixona, her majesty would like to speak with you", he said.

    "What is this about"? "I do not know, but she said that it was important". The thought made me nervous, what if someone found out about our affair. I went to her castle in she had locked herself inside her bed chambers. I knocked on the door. 

    "Go away", she shouted. "Falon it's me, Rixona", I said. She got up and opened the door. She used it as a sheild so I wouldn't see her when I walked inside. "What is it Falon, why are you behind the door"? She threw it away from her and I saw her.

    I let out a large gasp and fell onto the floor. Her skin was pale and her once blonde hair was black. "What happened to you Falon", I asked. "I became a mage some how, a dark mage". I hugged her and told her it was going to be okay.

    I let her go and we sat down on the bed. "What are we going to do about your appearance"? "Can we change it", I asked. "No, I tryed my best to look like my old self, this is me now". "Well that's fine you're still beautiful, if not even more", I said kissing her.

    "You don't think I'm hideous"? "Of course not, your the one I love". "I love you Rixona". "I love you too Falon". She stood up and grabbed my hands. "I want to get married".

    I stood up and walked to the door. "I think it's time that I go, continue your days how you do normally". "But I recommend you stay inside the castle for about 3 weeks before leaving again". I left the room and rushed pass the guards.

    "Empress Rix-". "I have to use the washroom", I said started to walk faster. When I got inside I slammed the door and rest my hands on the sink. Falon wants to get married? But we're both women, and what would that mean for the Southern kingdom?

    Will that mean I have to step down and become her queen? It all didn't make sense and I wanted to forget about it. I washed my hands and left the washroom. "Let's go", I said walking to the carriage and getting inside. When I got back to the castle I met with the searchers.

    "So how many mages were in the Northern kingdom", I asked Laizen. "I counted and brought back 5, 3 earth mages, one fire, and 1 air". I nodded my head and turned to the knights. "How many mages did you get"? "We counted and brought back 20 mages".

    "We got 5 earth mages, 7 fire, 4 air, and 4 water". "How many did you get Rixona", Laizen asked. "I found 7 and brought back 6". "One earth, 2 water, 4 fire". "Where's the last mage you found". "She is still in the Southern kingdom, a queen must complete her duties".

    "Queen Falon has become a mage"! "Yes she is a dark mage, it also caused a major change in her appearance". "She looks more cold and dark, she doesn't have her warm smile anymore". "But she is still the beatiful woman she was before, luckily".

    "Do you know how dangerous dark mages are, we can't have one roam free", Laizen said. "She is not violent or done anything of the sort", I said standing up. "We have to lock her away for the people's safety"! "No Laizen"! "Why are you defending her"!

    "Because she is a kind and loyal king of the Rix nation"! "We will not lock her away". The next day I went to see Falon. She seemed to be doing fine. I was getting ready to leave when she stopped me. "Why did you leave afterb I proposed to you"?

    I let out a deep sigh. "What will it mean for both of our kingdoms"? "What will it mean for the Rix nation, also what will the people think"? "This will cause a war between Rix and the southern empire". "Can I atleast go outside"?

    "Sure", I said as I stood outside her door. I waited as she put her clothes on. She put on her crown so people could know that she was their queen. While walking there were whispers. "Who is that woman with Empress Rixona"?

    "They say that it's Queen Falon". "No, she looks nothing like our queen"!
