I woke up slowly, blinking a few times to focus my eyes.
These dreams were getting more detailed by the day. But I suppose they aren't really dreams, just memories I tried so hard to bury away.
There was something about that dream, but- just like all of the other nights- the moment I woke up, they were erased again from my mind.
I wondered how I knew that the 'dreams' were actually memories if I couldn't remember what happened. Anyways, it's not like I should be worrying myself about these things, it's probably not important.
I peeked outside of the curtained window. 'it's still dark' I thought. I reached over to check the pocket watch that was resting on my bedside table. 'it's still so early' I thought again.
I could possibly wake up Archer, so he could help me fall back asleep. But I knew that if I were to do that, he wouldn't go back to sleep due to him worrying about me. I'm sure he'd like a few extra hours of sleep anyways, before he had training and mentoring later in the day.
I decided I was going to go get a glass of water to soothe my discomfort. I quietly walked into the kitchen, not bothering to turn the light on. There was a faint orange light coming from outside anyways.
...wait. That's not usually there. It's the humans, no doubt. Probably setting light to my people's houses.
'the humans have been getting into our routes...' 'they're getting closer day by day.' the woman's voice echoed in my head. She was right, we'll eventually be found, and all we can do is prepare for the worst.
Robin was raised as a peasant in the magical Opal Kingdom. He has jet-black hair like most of the peasant, but his eyes are pale and he lacks the ability to talk, this has resulted in him not having any friends (with Archer as an exception). He developed the powerful gift to detect the difference from each voice he hears. This has lead him to overhear terrible and frightening plans .
Archer was raised to be a skilled knight for the Opal Kingdom. He is tall with a solid build and dark brown hair. Archer was born with the ability to read peoples minds -a very useful power for a knight-. He developed a strong relationship with Robin after he realised Robin could communicate with him telepathically..
The people of Opal were forced to flee suddenly, after a human invasion on the kingdom. The king was slaughtered and many were taken hostage to be used for their power. Those who fled are hidden amongst the humans.
Robin has promised himself that he'll protect his people, and eventually (with the help of Archer) restore the kingdom to it's former glory.

I hope someone (even just 1 person) will decide to read it, lol.
I'll react to any feedback I get with an open mind, so please tell me what you think.
