Two whole days had passed since Emma has been sent to her room by the angry queen.
She had hardly seen Julius, they had passed each other a few times in the hall but never managed to talk as the queen would come, gliding towards them and tell Emma off for talking to the Prince. Emma couldn’t understand why her mother was so sensitive but she chose to stay quiet.
Even Martha didn’t know the reason when Emma had asked her. And now it just happened to be the evening when the Northern family where leaving.
Emma sighed sadly as she made her way down the deserted halls. “Emma.” She jumped as she heard someone call out her name. “Who’s there?” She called out. “Only me,” Emma smiled in surprise as the Prince made his way towards her.
“What are you doing here?” Emma asked confused. “Shouldn’t you have already left?” Julius smiled. “No. But soon, I was hoping you would pass by here.”
“Why?” The Prince fidgeted nervously. “I wanted to ask if you wanted to take a walk with me.” Emma’s eyes widened in surprise, “But my mother…” The Prince frowned “Forget about her! Come let us go.” Smiling he took Emma by the arm, they began to make their way outside.
“Where are you taking me?” Emma asked him. “Oh, Just over there.” Julius pointed to a nearby willow tree. Once they had reached it they stopped. Julius turned to look at Emma. She stared at him confused. “Julius, where are we?” The boy stared at her, his smile gone.
“In your garden,” the boy said slyly. “And my names not Julius it`s Pete.”
Emma stared at him in horror. “So where is Prince Julius?” The boy smirked, “Oh him. Dead. But it was worth it. He wined and cried so much!” He turned to frown at Emma. “And so will you Princess if you don’t come with me!”
Before Emma could scream she felt a sharp stabbing pain on the back of her neck. Then everything blurred as she fell unconscious into the boys waiting arms.
