“Greetings.” She said with a smile as Aleksi and Alewndra brought their guests into her study.
“Ah… who are you exactly?” asked the first guest, confusion clear on his face.
“And where are we? Why were we brought here?” the second asked, her voice far stricter.
“I believe we are meant to start with introductions.” She said with a smile, watching their reactions closely.
“Zivon.” Said the first. “Zivon Gavrie.”
She couldn’t help the small frown. He’d have to learn better than that.
“Varya.” Said the girl with a look of distaste.
“Very good.” She said patronisingly, hiding her amusement at Varya’s reaction. “I am Lady Anuva.”
“That’s great and all, but why are we here then?” Varya demanded once more.
“I’d like to know that too.” Zivon said, clearer than before. He almost seemed to be coming out of a haze.
“Of course, we will get to that in due time.” She said, nodding. “But first, please, join me in the dining hall. Aleksi and Alewndra have told me that neither of you ate this morning. I have things much more suited to you in there, I believe.”
Zivon and Varya had no choice but to follow if they wanted to answer as she strolled out of the room.
