AmberLight A.U Timeline

Basic Timeline 

(Pre- Sega Sonic)

Backstories for the cast, ancient history, and other important events happened before the main series. 

SegaSonic-Sonic Forces 

Main Series to the ending of Forces. Games like LW and Forces events/details will change but the basic plot is the same. These changes will be revealed as the series moves along.

(7 months after Forces)

Sonic IDW #1-12

Eggman never came back after the war, so no Mr.Tinker or Zombot Arc. Issue 1-4, the Neo Metal Sonic/Battle for Angel Island Arc, and the Tangle and Whisper stories are more or less the same. Pretend Starline doesn’t exist until I think of what to do with him lol.

(About 7 years after IDW)

Loads of things happen there, G.U.N funding the Resistance, Amy training with Knuckles, Villain Recruitment, the formation of the Red Star Alliance, etc.

Basic Setting Rules.

1. AmberLight A.U is inspired by RWBY.  In that series, characters are based on existing fairy tales/fables, colors, and/or archetypes. For AmberLight this means characters are based on a certain concept, combining different interpretations of the character, based on characters from another series, and/or parallel with another character. Example Amy is Buff, Sonic is based on Tyson Hesse’s ideal Sonic, Tiara is based on Spinel, and Myteria is paralleled to Tails, Shadow, and Eggman. Characters that don’t specifically follow this rule will just have simple design changes.

2. Instead of 2 worlds, Mobians live on their own side of Earth, Basically the fanmade map above.

3. The moon is still visibly broken because of plot consistency for SA2, also RWBY reference lol.

4. Classic = Younger Versions,(they have stuff like the multi-colored eyes in flashbacks.) 

5. No Freedom Fighters sorry, :/ They might be cameos and they will inspire some design (ex. AL Cream is based on Bunnie) but they’re not going to be recurring characters. They overlap with other characters’ roles too much and IDK how to write them. Boom, IDW, Sonic X, SegaSonic (duh), and minor Archie Characters are completely fair game tho.
