Prologue: Reintroductions, 8 Years After The Final Battle 

Sonic The Hedgehog:     “It wasn’t all too long ago that total destruction faced our world. All because of one man’s ambition to conquer everything.”  

Shadow The Hedgehog:  “I know most of you know the story, and the constant battles we went through to uphold prosperity. But we’ll explain some details here.” 

Sonic: “Almost 8 years ago Dr. Eggman set off a war against the entire world.  He discovered an ancient weapon to power his conquest; a single gemstone that can rival the power of the Chaos Emeralds called the Phantom Ruby.” 

Shadow: “He also recruited a dark enforcer, using a replica of the ruby to spread fear and misery to anyone who stood in their way. A former mercenary disgraced by my own hands; we call him Infinite.”  The quiet voice said with some guilt in his mind. 

Sonic: “A Resistance force rose up to take back our world, led by my friends. With their help, we finally put a stop to Eggman’s plot and kicked their imperial butts!” The energetic voice excitedly blurted. 

Shadow: “Uncharacteristically, the doctor hasn’t been seen since, he was gone without a trace. Rumored sightings of Infinite spread around for years, but there’s still no concrete evidence on it.” 

Sonic:   “The entire planet experienced a long-awaited peace. Old bases of Eggman were either destroyed or repurposed. The Resistance became a worldwide organization, to help those in need. At long last, no one had to worry very much. ” 

Shadow:   “As for us, we’re trying our best to fulfill the promises we made to protect this world; in our own way of course. Helping the next generation of heroes be prepared for the next threat; in the course, the likes of me or Sonic aren’t able to save the day. Both old and new.”

7:00 Am The House of Amy Rose. 

A soothing sunrise appears from the sky view and the light shines on a beautiful bright garden view. A loud alarm was playing in a pink and red bedroom, playing a simple but catchy “Da Da Da Da Da Da” melody. A few seconds later a pink hedgehog stretched out of her bed and turned it off. Yawning and twitched her ears to wake herself. The hedgehog was tall and was very muscular for her species; despite this, she had this cute, soft face and a friendly aura around her. She glanced at a picture on her desk, it featured herself; much younger and smaller with a group of friends that she still cherishes to this day. A heroic cool blue hedgehog, his intelligent but modest two-tailed sidekick, a naive, but strong-willed echidna, and last but not least, a kind longed eared rabbit with her mystical Chao.  The hedgehog motivated herself that this day is going to be great and started her morning routine. Doing her daily boxercise, bathing and grooming herself, brushing her spines to keep their curled position, and packing an extra pair of clothes in her bag; one designed for training and combat just in case it’s needed. She wore a nicely fitted red dress similar to the one she’d wear in her youth; plus the addition of a feathered bow and her favorite gold rings she wears as bracelets. She looked in the mirror and gave herself one big smile as she headed off to live this day to the fullest. 

Amy Rose: Alright, here we go! (Amy said excitedly.)

Close to Amy’s house was a modern city located on an island. In the forest closest to the city lies a young orange and brown badger wearing rag-like clothing. On top of one of the highest trees, she was experiencing the beautiful sunrise of New Hope. Her curious blue eyes wander up as she puts on her skull-shaped mask, as her star-shaped tattoo begins to glow. Following her are 3 distinctly colored animals: a green fox, a grey owl, and a muted magenta lizard; waiting for their next move with malicious intent in their faces.
