Dean was sitting on the bench, watching Cas push Eliana on the swing. "Higher!" Eliana giggled. "Okay, Okay." Castiel smiled, there was only two swings and there was another kid sitting on the other one. "Excuse me." A woman cleared her throat, holding a young boy in her arms. "My son wants to swing." The woman said. "Okay..my daughter was here first." Castiel retorted. "Well, my son wants to swing! I'll go talk to your wife if you don't let my son swing!" The woman yelled. "I don't have a wife.." Castiel glanced over at Dean, who was watching intently. "Whatever! Just get off so my son can swing!" She reached for Eliana, grabbing her, pulling her off the swing, she immediately starts screaming and crying. "What the hell?!" Dean yelled and ran over, he grabbed Eliana of the ground and she was bleeding from a large cut on her head. Castiel joined Dean. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Dean growled, clutching his screaming, crying toddler. "Your daughter wouldn't get off the swing!" She placed her son on the swing and he looked TERRIFIED. "Mommy, I don't wanna play anymore." The little boy whimpered. "We just got here!" The woman said. "I wanna go home!" He started sobbing. "You made my Dylan cry!" She growled. "You pushed our daughter off the swing." Dean had taken off his jacket, wrapping it around Eliana, who was sobbing. The woman grabbed her child and stormed off, Dean shielded Eliana as Cas healed her, she sniffled. "I wanna go home." Eliana whimpered. "Then let's go home." Dean and Cas started walking back to the Impala...
Dean Winchester’s life was easy enough..care for Sammy, put food on the table, hunt things, take a beating for his younger brother. He always looked over the whole “soul mates” idea thinking it was a big pile of bullshit. But when he met a Angel with eyes as blue as the oceans in the Caribbean and a trench coat it all changed. Sacrifices had to be made. Old habits had to literally “die hard” and he had to change his whole entire view for one man.
