“Carrel, meet Ash- Hey! Where are you taking me?!?”
Before Sorel could introduce the two, Ash pulls him into the alley between the cafe and the shop next to it, holding him in a rather shady and uncompromising way that would lead anyone to believe they weren’t just friends.
“Why’d you do that?” Sorel asked Ash questionably wondering why he was forced into a back alley by his friend.
“Why did you tell he was this bloody handsome, even my asexual, no romance, ass would fall for him”
“I told you! You just wouldn’t believe me”
Before Ash could reply, Sorel looked behind him (him who was pinning Sorel to the wall) and smiled nervously, making Ash look behind. When he turned, he could have sworn he saw a demon with red glowing eyes staring into the deepest depth of him, paralyzing him, unable to even breath. Before he was able to attempt to move again, Sorel spoke.
“This isn’t what it looks like Car’ I promise! We were just talking about you and how handsome you are and-” Sorel paused when he realized what he said. Carren was indeed extremely good looking, however Sorel decided to save his embarrassment and not say it to his face. Before he could take back his words Carren took the chance and grabbed Sorel into his chest.
“So you think I'm handsome.” Carren said this as a statement, not a question, which only made Sorel wanna dig his head into Carren bosom even more then shrivel up to die. “What else do you think about me? Do you like my body? Do you think I have a good temperament? Or perhaps…” Carren puts his lips near Sorel's ear, making his face which was hidden blush as he listens to Carren’s breathing. “Do you think I’m sexy?” Carren licked Sorel’s ear, making him shiver and weak in the knees. Carren wanted to do more but stopped when he heard a cough.
“Uh guys, I’m kinda like, y’know, right here.” Sorel and Carren both turn over and see Ash scratching the back of his head with an awkward expression shouting, “I’m a third wheeler! Let me out of here!”. Carren snickered but Sorel was nowhere near as brash and dug his head back in Carren’s chest, turning red as a tomato on fire.
“I’ll introduce you two another time then, why don’t we go now Carren.” Before anybody could make a noise, Sorel turned, ready to dash away from the alleyway that had been filled with ‘awkward air’. However he couldn't leave because he was held back by Ash, who had a look of determination for who knew what.
“Uh, Ash?”
“Can we talk for a bit?”
“I guess, but do you need to right now?”
“Yes, right now”
Sorel agreed and sent Carren to wait in the car he brought to pick up Sorel with. Sorel turned back and suddenly had to listen through a mini lecture.
“Sorel, I’m telling this because your my friend, not because I hate you, but… stay away from Carren.” Sorel got a bit more serious and spoke back with a hint of disdain in his voice.
“What do you mean?”
“He gives me the heebie jeebies. He’s definitely not normal.”
“I’m not normal either, with my…” Sorel paused for a second before continuing. “Condition, he’s probably closer to normal then I’ll ever be.”
“Then can you tell him your secret?!? Can you swear he’s not going to go running his mouth around campus letting everyone know about him”
“Stop! Don’t speak like that about Carren. I’ll tell him when the time comes so don't barge into business that isn’t yours!” Sorel was mad, angry, furious, pissed, and any other synonym that could describe his hurt and anger for what his friend had said.
“...I’m sorry. Just be careful.” Ash looked down in shame and apologized for his words, knowing he hurt Sorel.
“It’s okay, but don’t say anything like that again. I’ll go now.” Unable to hold the conversation anymore, and not wanting to break anything between them, Sorel decides to leave. Maybe not the best decision, but the one he chose to follow.
