I'm currently in a plane because I'm heading to Washington for the olympics. You see I'm an American who lives in Nashville and Washington is in the USA as well, so the flight takes about only 1 hour and 45 minutes. The flight is not really long. Witch is good! I don't have the time to fall asleep like I did last time when it was the 2016 Johannesburg Olympics. One of my teamates filmed me during my beautiful sleep. I was so embarrassed. I think I should stop thinking it's not good to overthink. I'm more excited to go the olympics this year because it's in my own country. Not gonna lie, the 2012 Toronto Olympics and the 2016 Joahnnesburg Olympics were awsome but representing team USA when the olympics is in your country sounds way more exciting.

 1 hour and 30 mins later

Me and my teamates just arrived in the olympic village. I had an idea about what it would look like but it's ten times better in real life. Every country has their own hotel. It looks better than I imagined. The olympics are 1 week away. You may ask why we arrived 1 week in advance instead of 2 months? Since the olympics are in our country they decided that we arrived last because we lived closer to Washington. I'm going to pay a visit to my best friend Jessica Smith who is olympian swimmer just like me tonight. She arrived in other plane since they decided that girls and boys don't have the same plane. Which is fine by me, I guess?  Their rules not mine.  I think I'm going to facetime my family to let them know I arrived in Washington. Well I'm going to go get my room card so I have a little bit of privacy. Today we get to be free since we just arrived in the olympic village but tomorrow I'm definitely rusuming my training since the world is counting on me to win medals since I'm one of the best olympians in the world now. I just arrived in my hotel room that i'll be charing with someone else. My hotel room I'll be staying in is beautiful but I stop admiring the room since I have to facetime my family. I sit on my bed and I tap my mom's number since I know my family are all in my childhood house. 

That's where I stopped the phone call since it was getting tense. I hate when dad tells me that. What is he afraid of? This question can only be answered by him but he will never truthfully answer to this question. I should stop thinking about that. I should focus on meeting my friend.

I'm going to go meet my friend in the lobby for the olympians. It's currently 7 pm. I walk towards the lobby just to see if she is already waiting. I greet her and we hug. I haven't seen her for a couple of months since she lives in Seattle and I live in Nashville. We have been busy to train for the olympics. 

Jessica Smith has 3 medals under her belt. It's less than me but I don't care. I like her for who she is not about how many medals she has won.  She is very talented and I'm so lucky to have her as a friend. We chatted for awhile so when we were done chating it was time to head to our rooms since we had a curfew. I can't wait to rusume training tommorow since it's one of my favorite things to do.

Today it's an other day. There's only 6 days to go till the olympics are gonna start. Today I received the news that I'm going to hold the flag for the team USA for the opening ceremeny. I'm proud they decided to chose me. I woke up at 6 am in the morning, I did my things and headed to the eating hall at 6:30 am. At 7 am, me and my training coach left to go training. We arrived less than 10 minutes later. I trained until 11 am and I got a resting break till 11:30 am. I ate lunch at 11:30 am till noon. I had my resting ( naping time) till 2 pm just to go training again till 5 pm. I had my break time for 1 hour and I went to the dinning hall to eat diner. After eating we had time to chat and do what we want (sort of). I took time to facetime my girlfriend and chat with my friend Jessica. Then it was time to head to our room. I fell asleep shortly after that. That's my routine I pretty much do every day on and off. Pretty boring? Yeah but not for me. I'm used to it.

Today is the day the ceremony is to take place. I'm excited for the opportunity to hold the USA flag at the opening ceremony. I will probably cherish the moment forever.
