Swords in the library

prologue (pg.1)

prologue (pg.1)

Aug 06, 2021

Everyone knows about the legend of the sword in the west wing library. It has been around since before anyone can remember, and no records can determine the reality of this story seeing as it is older than any surviving records. A lot of people have claimed to have seen the sword, but no one has been able to prove it, and so the legend continues of the chosen one who will find an ancient sword who will be able to manipulate the seven core elements: Death, Peace, Night, Fire, Water, Earth, and the most important: Magic. There have been records written in communal journals of the west wing dormitory of dreams lasting for days, weeks even, of an infinite library with a similar architecture to the library, the recipient of the dream seems to be walking for ages and hear a sort of music not like any that has been heard before and while following this sound they find a sword with a golden hilt, an opal set in silver just below the cross-guard, and a blade longer and sharper than they have ever seen. There also seems to be seven animals representing the seven elements carved into the blade: a dragon, a snake,a raven,a dove, a fox, a koi fish, and a deer. Nobody knows what they mean, some have speculated that they represent the seven core elements, others claim the entire ordeal is false. But no luck comes to the skeptic, and so mysteriously they disappear one. by. one.

[currently re-writing the story, read at your own discretion]
The legend of the sword in the west wing library is well-known and nearly as old as the school itself. Cohen has heard of this legend and like many students before them decides to do some research. This comes at the cost of their sanity, relationships, and much more. Even with the help of their friends, will Cohen be able to slow the spread of evil that has been working it's way into general society for centuries?
