"And.?...??!!" She says clearly telling Angle that it's his turn to 'Bring me out of my shell'
"The names Angle," he says reaching a hand out for me to shake. I just turn my head to him and nod. He reluctantly brings his hand back to himself. "I don't have a rehearsed intro like Price does," He says as Price cracks a giggle from behind me.
"It didn't sound rehearsed..." I say sinking back into my seat.
"That's the whole point of them rehearsing!! So it sounds genuine and not like a script, That's their theater classes coming through," He says cracking a smile.
"Shushhhhhh!!! Don't listen to him, love, I don't rehearse them....I just know them by heart.." She says flicking her hand at Angle as if she's shoeing him away.
I giggle at her actions. It's been a long time since I've done that. Price's face widens with shock for half a second before she's giggling too. Angel looks at me than her then back to me before he joins in the giggling party.
"Dear Lord! I've never laughed from so little so hard in my life! That giggle was so cute! I can't even!" Price says physically smacking her desk to contain a bit of her laughter.
"Aw come on, Price! I've seen you laugh harder. Remember the last time we were online together! You almost pissed yourself from out of nowhere!" Angle says hitting Price, lovingly, on her shoulder.
"What! Pfft! I-I-I don't even know what you mean! Don't listen to him, Luv! I never did that!" Price says her face bright pink. I couldn't tell if it was from her laughing, which has now stopped, or if the story Angle said was true.
The group of girls behind us start to snicker. Not the kind of snicker that people do to stop laughing, the rude type that I am far too familiar with.
"Aw don't feel too bad freak! Every two-year-old pee's their pants. Oh wait, never mind. I forgot that you're just the same size as them." One of the same blonde girls that Angle had hanging around him before said. They started to laugh and snicker again. I was scared of what might happen, Price seemed to have that no-shits taken kind of personality. If I was in her place I would have broken down right there in my seat. But Price just turned around in her seat to look at them. I could almost see flames surround her.
"One!" She says holding her finger up "Don't EVER call me a fucking freak got that! Two! Make fun of my size all you fucking want 'cause let's get something straight!" She turns to a group of rather tall guys sitting in the corner. "Hey! Taylor!" she calls one of the boy's names. An at least 6'2-6'3 boy with short, brown. side shaved hair comes over.
"Yo! Price what up!" He says giving Angle a fist bump.
"I have a question for you?" She says eyes never leaving the now-shaking blonde girl.
"Shoot!" He says sitting on the desk Price is sitting in.
"Would you rather have a shorter girl like me or someone like this blonde bimbo?" Price points her finger at said "blonde bimbo"
Taylor laughs for a second "Wait, wait. Are you for real asking me if I'd rather date a short thick girl, or a girl trying too hard to be something she's not 'cause all the shows tell her how to act to get boys?" Taylor says tilting his head to the side making him look like a questioning puppy.
"Yup." Price says in a monotone voice anger still coursing through her veins.
"I'd take you out any day Price! but don't ever tell Oliver and Sophie I said that!" Taylor says looking, almost silently pleading, at Angle to keep his mouth shut. he nods and Taylor lets out a quick breath.
"Is it safe to say the other boys would say the same?" Price asks once more tuning in her chair.
"Yeah! I mean you know how much the guys like the shorties!" Taylor says hoping off the desk.
"Thanks, Luv. You can go back to the boys now" Price says with the girl now crying behind her.
"Sure thing, Price! You and Angle still coming over tomorrow?" Taylor asks looking at Angle.
"Hell Yeah! You know how much your party's rock! And it's my duty as a partner to see my girl up there DJ-ing your fucking socks off!" Price says her cheerful personality coming back to her.
"Yeah. You know I'll be there someone has to bring those three's drunk asses home!" Angle says pointing his thumb at Price.
"Jerk!" Price yells hitting Angle's side.
"What?!? You know it's true! Come on, Taylor back me up here!" Angle says looking at a now running away Taylor.
"Nope! No one wants to handle an angry Price!" Taylor says rushing back to the group of boys.
"Is there a party happing tomorrow?" I ask. If I go to a party I might not have to deal with dad. I could go one weekend without it.
