Aiden's pov
"Wake up!" I hear Kayla shout when I wake up, right before something fluffy hit my face. "Wake up!" she hit me with my pillow again. "Wake up!" another hit. "Ok, ok. I'm awake. What time is it?" I groan as I block another attack from the pillow. "7:40. Also, mum made pancakes!" The energised girl in front of me exclaimed. 'How can she be so damn energetic at 7 in the morning?' I ask myself as I get up from my bed and head to the kitchen."Good morning, mum," I say as I enter the kitchen. I sat at the dining table as my mum piled a few pancakes onto my plate. She put the plate down in front of me and sat down at the table. All she did was watch me as I ate the pancakes.
"Aiden, sweetie, is everything ok? You were acting kind of strange yesterday when you came home. You even went to sleep without eating. Is everything alright at school? Is it stressing you out?" My mum finally spoke up, her voice full of worry. I looked at her and took her hands in mine as I said, "Mum... I'm fine. I just kind of need to get a bit more sleep."
I stand up and get myself ready to leave as I see that it's 8 am already. I pick up my backpack and coat. Before I left the house, I shouted, "Bye mum, bye Kayla!" and I was on my way to school.
Thanks for reading! I've suddenly gotten a motivation boost and have like 4 more parts already written so I can get myself on some sort of update schedule. I'm thinking an upload every week or two.
