PRESENT DAY(1st person)
I turn on the ignition and slam the gas. James is shotgun, I mean we are the only two in the car. Any minute of delay and we would've never seen the light of day. That, that thing, i try not to think about it, but it lingers in my head. James is phoning our captain to tell him what happened. Being the captain that he is, and being human, he doesnt beleive one word. Great.
We arrive at the office and we talk to him directly. He still doesn't beleive it. James says to forget it but no. I ask the captain to come with us and check it out. it's risky going there, but its even more risky to leave it unattended to.
Me, James and the captain are in one car and theres three other cars for other units. Our captain may not beleive in ghosts but he trusts us when we say we need backup. We arrive at the house. I am anxious to stop, but theres no going back now. I step out the car, James and the Captain follow.
As i near the door, I draw my gun, a 22. caliber. My captain draws his 45 Magnum revolver. I open the door and look inside. The body, It's dissapeared. The house, is no longer torn down. It's like nothing ever happened.
"Is this some kind of joke, Mike?"
Now I start to panic. I didn't just waste the time of my captain, but that of James and 12 other units. I was in deep shit now. I knew what i saw, James saw it too.
"You saw it too, right James?"
"See what?"
"Huh"
