Hesitantly, Kiladus hops in while they begin their slow ride down the long stretching roads of Metalnine. The snow started to creep in once they began their long ride towards the capital.

“Ah! I can’t wait Kiladus It's going to be great, no more breaking rocks from dawn to dusk.“ Gallo spoke, pulling his hands behind his head.

“Yes, you’ve traded it for draining others all day and night. It's the perfect job for you, Gallo. I’m glad you're grateful.” Kiladus kept his head down, his breath coming out as clear icy husks, pooling up in front of his face.

“Well, you guys seem pretty chipper about this whole enslavement thing. Forgive me if I don't share your sentiments. After all… my home was always where the trees were.“ An Elven man explained, a peculiar looking fellow. He had long black hair. And he’d been just as pretty as Gallo. A necklace hung from his neck while he stared out with a bored expression while the carriage rode on. “Names’ Tyon. One of you didn’t by chance catch where he said we were headed? “

“He said something about the Capital. It's near Hammershine… so we're going to be riding through Metalnine, through this cold… more than likely all night.'' Kiladus said.

“It's not too bad. And it's nice to meet you Tyon. I’m Gallo, and this brute is Kiladus. I don't see many elven slaves around here. What are you doing so far off from Goldencrane?" The Beast blood tapped at his chin - full of inquisitiveness.

“I was with my beloved… we… got into trouble with her family and I ended up here. It shouldn't be much longer now." He said, sounding sure of her. Kiladus smiled at this. Saying a silent prayer as Gallo rolled his eyes.

“May the Elements guide you two along the path of one another once more. May your Winds tether, and your Waves clash. May your Earth grow and may your Fires burn." He whispered out the holy prayer before kissing the beads he kept around his wrist.

“A Curseling who worships the Elements? Now I've seen everything.“ Tyon grinned from ear, intrigued at this point.

“Quiet, before you get him started.“ Gallo complained, watching the birds overhead now, tuning the rest of this out. He already knew where it was going.

“ We are all from the Elements. The Fairies come from the wind. The Dragons from the fire. The Humans and Orcs are from the earth. And the Tidewalkers are from the sea. '' Kiladus boasted proudly while he lifted his hand up for a mothbat to float down onto the edge of his clawed finger tip. “ My Teacher made me study the text of Miht day in, and day out. I apologize. “

“ No, please. Don’t apologize, it's quite alright. But, you know… you spoke of every other race and their connection. What of you Curselings?“ Tyon said with crossed arms now.

Kiladus' eyes trailed over to the carriage ahead, eying Aganul from a distance. “We come from nothing.“

After hours of riding, they’d all fallen asleep while the snow drifted through the grates of the cage. Soon enough a loud THUMP could be heard, forcing a few of them out of their sleep. After the aftershock, the Wagon began to shake tremendously before a violent explosion rippled out from the base of the Wagon, forcing the whole thing to topple over in a series of flips before finally crashing into the base of a tree; Tossing all forty-five of the slaves out of their holding. Kiladus finally came too. His eyes trained themselves ahead as he made out the Dark Cloaks from before, pressing a stone to the slaves faces. Only to grunt in disapproval, and slit one of the slaves throats before tossing it back down to the ground with heavy SMACK that would crack the skull open.

Finally pulling himself from the Wreckage he saw Tyon first. The Elf’s arm was gone and he was reaching out to Kiladus before another Dark Cloak gripped him by his throat and flipped him over onto his back to look up at him. He pressed the stone to him as well, and once it became unresponsive, he began to violently stab the Elf Man to death. Kiladus tossed himself around the wreckage to avert gazes upon himself. His chest heaving up and down as he attempted to slip away from the chaos, only to see Gallo once he made it around the edge of the destroyed carriage. His friend was being exclaimed with the stone and once it became unresponsive… They thrusted the blade through the Beast Blood's brain. His screams cut short before they could even ring out.

“No! Gallo!” Kiladus screamed outward, reaching out for him, only to force himself back up onto his feet, tossing his cloak off of himself. “I’LL KILL YOU! “ Kiladus shouted, and the Stone they were carrying… glowed a bright green.

“This one will do…” Said one of the Dark Cloaks, pulling his blades out and charging head first towards Kiladus.

The Curseling side-stepped his sword lunge and grabbed hold of the goon's head only to then crush it in his right hand. He allowed the brain matter to slip in between hefty fingers before booting the entire body away, watching it skip across the ground like a pebble would across a lake. Another Cloak came charging ahead, this time Kiladus managed to choke slam this one into the ground, forcing his head to explode on impact, rolling out of the way of a sword attack. He stands up just in time to get a series of arrows sprayed into his back, laced in poison. He staggers and tries to keep himself up but another set of arrows follow soon after. Dropping down to his knees to cough up blood, eyes rolling into the back of his head while he slumps back to the ground. His head buried deep into the snow covered ground. Reaching out, close enough to Tyon now as he snatched the pendant he wore on his neck, gripping tightly to it as he finally slipped into the cold release… of death.

The Cloaked men kicked at him before one of them grabbed at his foot… and they drug him off deep into the unknown. The sounds of the owls that were scattered about across the woods were the only indication that the night managed to swallow another day, aside from the dark cape of the evening.
