After hiking for several hours, Blade could finally see the city. He looked at the wooden sign in front him.

Oakshore.

Blade gazed back at the city from afar.

*THUMP THUMP*

Blade touched his chest. His heart was racing.

'What… is this feeling?'

Ignoring the unknown emotion he was feeling, Blade entered Oakshore.

The guards at the entrance of town was a bit of an issue so he couldn't just walk in. Instead, Blade climbed onto a nearby tree and swung his body on a sturdy branch and swung onto the top of the stone wall. He dropped down somewhere where there were not a lot of people nearby so a huge commotion wouldn't be made. He puts on his hood and steps out of the alleyway he was in.

Blade's eyes glistened as he walked through the streets. He was in awe by the wooden buildings around him. It was nothing like that white nauseating lab. Kids ran past him giggling. Adults were shouting for people to buy their products. 

It was lively.

Their smiles and their eyes that were full of life made Blade envious.

'I could have had a life like this.'

His burning hatred for those working in the lab grew. His glistening eyes darkened. Blade shut off the unknown emotions he was feeling and wandered. He kept his head down to hide his noticeable black and white hair.

*STEP STEP STEP*

His pace began to get quicker.

*CRASH*

Not paying attention to his surroundings, Blade bumped into a young woman. She had long black hair and had a beauty mark under her right eye. He stared at her while she got up and brushed off the dirt that was on her dress. 

"Oww… You should apologize if you bump into someone."

"….."

"Hey! I said you should-"

She stopped speaking when she looked up from her dress and made eye contact with Blade. There was a moment of silence between the two. The young woman breaks the silence by sighing.

"Hah… It's fine."

She takes out her hand and greets him.

"Hello, I'm Thana."
