The next morning I woke up early and decided I had to leave. I needed to get my stuff together quickly so I could leave as soon as possible. As quietly as I could, I took out a gym bag and filled it up with all the essentials as I heard Dad get up.
As soon as I heard the front door shut half an hour later, I knew Dad had left for work. I immediately got dressed into some random jeans and a top before going down to the kitchen for breakfast where I prepared some toast in the toaster and wrapped it up in foil after to keep it warm before shoving it in my gym bag.
I headed out the front door and closed the door shut behind me. I thought it would be best to catch the train to some place random.
When I reached the train station a while later. I brought a ticket then sat down on a bench and waited for the train to come.
I had to wait 10 minutes for the train to arrive. I boarded the train with the other passengers and took a seat next to a window on my own. I ate my toast and applied some primer to my face like last night and eyeliner to my bottom eye waterline.
Thankfully no one sat by me throughout the whole journey or they would have started a conversation with me. I wasn’t in the mood for talking, I just wanted to get as far away from home as possible and quickly so no one would find me.
Once I got off the train at the final stop, I began looking for a place to stay the night.
I didn’t manage to find anywhere and I was hungry so I went into a diner I came across and ordered a late lunch of a chicken, salad and mayo sandwich with orange juice. When I had finished eating I made my way back to the train station. I jumped onto the train to a much further destination that would last through the whole night seeing as I had nowhere to stay. I couldn’t sleep on the train incase I got mugged in my sleep or something so I just stared out of the window and tried to stay awake. I should have got a coffee because I was tired and found it difficult to stay awake.
Many hours later, the train stopped for the last time and I had somehow managed to stay awake the whole time. I got off the train and began walking but I had no idea where I was going, I just kept walking.
Just then a blue car pulled up beside me. I didn’t think nothing of it but then someone familiar stepped out, it was Dad. How the hell did he find me so quick? Was he following me this whole time? I didn’t have time to run because I was picked up by Dad, he shoved me into the car roughly and got into the driver seat then drove off before locking the doors so I couldn’t get out.
“Did you really think that you could leave without me knowing about it?” Dad asked me with raised eyebrows.
I didn’t answer, I decided I wasn’t going to talk to my Dad again unless the wedding was called off. “You will marry Jack in two weeks but don’t worry, you won’t be married to him for long. I have a plan which we’ll talk about later. You look tired now, it looks like you didn’t sleep at all last night and you need your sleep,”
I couldn’t argue with Dad, I was exhausted but I wanted to know what his plan was but I didn’t have the energy to care right then. I closed my eyes and let sleep take me because I knew it was safe to do so, Dad might be forcing me to marry that creep but he would never hurt me.
