Jack’s pov

A week later

I don’t know what the hell is going on with Sienna and I don’t like it. We got married last week. We are supposed to be getting to know each other and should be in love. I’m in love with Sienna but I don’t think she is in love with me. She’s been very distant with me and will only have brief conversations with me. She also won’t let me anywhere near her. I need to do something to change this. I need to make her fall in love with me. I don’t know why she doesn’t like me, she married me so why is she being like this? I know it won’t be easy but I must get her to fall in love with me before I lose her.

She’s peacefully sleeping, unaware that I am watching her. She is so beautiful and I love her very much. If only she could see that and reciprocate my feelings. I need to show her how happy she can be with me. I’ve done as Sienna has asked this past week. I’ve kept my distance in bed and have been a gentlemen but that hasn’t gotten me anywhere. I need to change things around but I will never hurt her.

Without thinking about it, I placed an arm over Sienna protectively. I know she going to hate me when she realises but she needs to get used to the idea of me touching her. I am her husband. She should want me but something seems to be holding her back. She won’t tell me what is is, she always changes the subject when I ask her what is wrong.

As expected when Sienna woke up, she glared at my arm and tried to shrug it off but I refused.

“What do you think you are doing? I thought I told you to stay on your side of the bed?” Sienna snapped. Feisty huh? I like it.

“I am on my side of the bed,” I smirked.

“That includes your arm, move it,”

“No,” I shook my head. “I’ve had enough of your behaviour. We are married, you should want me as much as I want you,”

“In your dreams,” Sienna muttered.

“What did you just say?”

“Nothing,” Sienna replied innocently. She may be innocent but that temper of hers sure isn’t.

Sienna tried to get away from me but with no luck. I decided to cage her in with both arms and that didn’t go down well with Sienna. If looks could kill, I would be dead right now.

“Let me go,” Sienna demanded.

“No,” I refused as I hovered over Sienna’s small body. “I like this position,”

“If you don’t let me go right now then-”

“Then what? What will you do?” I raised an eyebrow and challenged my wife. What I didn’t expect her to do was place her hands on my shoulders and somehow roll us over until she was on top on me. She easily got away and headed for the bathroom. I ran after her but she reached the bathroom and slammed the door in my face then locked it before I could join her in there.

A few minutes later, I heard the shower running. Sienna hadn’t realised she had taken no clothing with her. I smirked as I waited for Sienna to notice.
