“Gaea, I’m bored.”

“Hello ‘Bored’, I’m Gaea.”

The god of the sun- Sol, sat by and watched as Gaea- the god of earth, was restarting humanity. Well it was more like Gaea was cleaning up all the mess left behind in his dead world. Gaea decided that he wanted to start over, and this time he would add certain elements as well as take away a few things to make a world that he thought would be more perfect than the last. He decided to add a few things that his old world believed were real, such as these mythical creatures like dragons and elves. Gaea still wanted humans in his world, but he wanted to design them in a way that wouldn’t leave them destroying the planet years later.

“Ah, I see what you’re doing, but I don’t believe that will last long. Humans are a special being Gaea. They are ve~ry special!” Sol laughed a bit to himself while watching Gaea. Sol and Gaea were sitting on the floor in Sol’s realm, with Sol sitting behind Gaea within an embrace. Gaea felt annoyed with Sol’s always being touchy feely, but had gotten used to it these past few millennia.

“It doesn’t matter, no matter how many times my world self-destructs, I’ll just make a new one.” Gaea answered Sol with a huff and shook his arms that basically entrapped him in Sol’s embrace. Gaea got up, as he was almost finished with a few minor details for his new world, and as he finished up, Sol also stood up from the floor and crossed his arms with a pout on his face.

Sol had his long shiny gold hair tied up in a high ponytail, while Gaea kept his long brown hair down to below his waist. However, Gaea didn’t mind that his hair was long, most other gods kept their hair long as well so it wasn’t uncommon. The room Sol and Gaea were in had no furniture, as Sol rarely has guests over his realm. The room had red walls and the floor was a white marbled design. The room had no ceiling as it was designed to view the other stars from afar.

“Well then, how about we make a bet? If your world self-destructs, then this will be the last time you create a world with beings! Sounds fun right?” Sol was amused with himself as he shared his idea with Gaea.

“Why would I do that? I quite enjoy restarting my world when that happens.” Gaea took a glance at Sol who was behind him and saw his shiny expression.

“Well, none of you guys pay attention to me, even the other gods with no living creatures on their planets ignore me!” Sol whined, but it didn’t seem to shake Gaea as he answered back, “And you wonder why…” Sol was a little offended by this, so he pouted again and went on with his own wishes.

“Whatever then! I’ll be watching your world real closely Gaea! If it’s about to self-destruct, then I will send an Asteroid to blow it up!” Sol then used his two fingers to point to his eyes, then pointed at the world Gaea was almost finished making.

However, Gaea wasn’t bothered in the slightest. He just shrugged his shoulders and let Sol have his way, he thought to himself that he can always just create another world anyway.

“Sure sure, whatever you want Sol. Oh and I’ll need seven souls, could you ask a red dwarf to fetch me some?” With an uncaring attitude, Gaea asked Sol for souls needed to create the living beings in his world. Sol then snapped his fingers and a small red boy appeared. Sol told the boy what Gaea needed and the boy went to fetch the souls from their rest. Once the boy came back with the seven souls in the shape of a small glowing yellow orb, Gaea took them and gave them each a name, a name that represented a sin in which he didn’t want his living beings to commit. After that, he blessed these souls and placed them on earth, to which the souls then began to roam the lands and gave birth to new souls.

Sol, and the red dwarf who was standing to the side watched in awe of Gaea’s world coming to life. The land became much more populated over time, and Gaea was happy with his work.
