Chapter 5 Ben

I woke to my alarm ringing. I heard my mother call for me.

"Mom, 5 more minutes."

"Ben come on it is late, '' she yelled from the kitchen.

I got up and went to the bathroom to take a shower then put my uniform on. After I washed up and put my clothes on I ran to catch the bus. Harren was waiting for me. I went into his dorm and we played games on our phones until the bell for breakfast rang. We walked to the cafe and I wanted to tell him about what happened in the bathroom last at the party.

"I need to tell you something."

"What is it," he says while taking a bite of pancake.

"Well last night at the party I think the crown prince and Susanne had sex in the bathroom."

"Omg what." Harren almost choked on milk.

'Yeah I saw it." "And it was loud they were moaning"

Soon breakfast was over and Harren went over to our friend group. I told them about Daniel and Susanne we heard the first bell which meant we had to go our class I was dreading today because I realized that I have essay to write about on the Great Gatsby and it not that I don't like the book it just I am not good writing essays and english is not my favorite subject.

Class was now over and I had four more classes but they were all my favorites because the teachers are fun but first it is lunch. On today's menu it is chicken fingers and fries. I get on the lunch line,take a tray and some chips then order.

I walk to a table when Harren sits down next to me.

The bell rang and that meant lunch was over. I walk to my science class. I sat down at a desk and texted my sister while waiting for the teacher. Then the teacher came and wrote stuff on the board. I was not paying attention at all as I was tired because I could not sleep at all. After all my classes were done I went to the bus station and saw my ex boyfriend Fernando.

Fernando is my ex. He and I were the best couple when I was in Sprachkontakt (A real school). One day I noticed he started avoiding me in school but when we were together at his house it was all lovey dovey . I never told him I was poor but like everyone else he thought I was the same. One day he asked me if he could come over. I did say yes so I went home after school that day and prepared for him. He came inside and looked mad at me. I knew it was a bad idea to bring someone. Later I tried to say sorry but I found that he was cheating on me with a boy from America.

"Ben hi how are you?" He said.

"I am great you?"

"I am fine, I am sorry ok." Fernando said.

"Sorry?" "You are the one who cheated!"

"Look I should of told you I am not rich we are even now ok"

Fernando looked away,"Bye"

I did not say bye and walked home. I felt like trash he was the only I felt I could be me and not someone else. I met him when I a first year but after he cheated I moved here now I am going to

Now I am home and see my older sister Flora. Flora is in college,she is super smart. I hugged her and I saw that she made dinner.

"Flora I missed you."

"Same, I had a break so I came to visit," She hugged me back.

Soon we had dinner and talked about how our day was. She was the first person I came out to and helped me get Fernando. I am super grateful for her. I could not have gotten over my heart break without her. 

I wanted her to stay for more day but sadly she has to go back tomorrow.  I went upstairs to my room and started doing some homework to get my mind off of my sister leaving. I just want her to stay longer.

After I did all my homework I decided to play some video games as I was not tired yet. I turned the tv on and then put the Xbox on. I started playing Call Of Duty. I soon turned of the tv and laid in my bed thinking of the day I will have a boyfriend and a nice family. I just hope when that day come he will like me for my looks and personality and not if I am rich or not.

I heard a knock on my door and I knew it was Flora.

"Hey can I come in she said.

Yeah you can."

She came in and we talk for awhile. I am sad though because she leaves tomorrow. I then fall asleep and Flora leaves my room. Later that night mom comes home and I say good night to her.
